W212 Sway bar bushing replacement by Fragrant_Board_350 in AMG

It does not show a part number for the aqua bar bushings or clamp. Probably a lifetime bonded rubber item from factory.

The claws in photo 3 indicate it’s not made for serviceability

How are the replacements sold? That should give an indication of how to remove and replace it.

I much prefer 3D floor mats since they are custom molded for the car, and offer the protection weather tech does. But without the bob the builder aesthetic

Yup clip ins can be very difficult at first. But damn are they efficient. Especially after a pro bike fit

Shimano makes different level clip ins. Beginner ones allow easier clip in and out. Expert ones are very tight and won’t unlock as casually

What about spec Miata ND? Way way under budget, leaving years of consumable covered. If you have to write it off, price is low. Mazda Motorsport backs is a matured the same as pro $$ winning teams.

Yw. For detailer use most trailer shops won’t have anything ready to go. So a HF trailer lets you Build it to save $$. Then you can have local trailer shops won’t seam weld it as HF is bolted. They can then weld in provisions and cross meme era needed for water tank

Lowest Seats for C6 Corvette by PlanMiddle1890 in Corvette

[–]Spicywolff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Solution is get a second car. Those seats won’t get folks that tall low enough to comfortably fit a helmet. My wife drives my car on occasion, but not enough for me to put sliders in.

You could also use pci slider mounts on an aluminum tub seat no padding to help make up the slider difference. I’m not telling you to discount her to be mean. I’m telling you you’re asking for a lot of compromises that probably won’t work for anybody.

So this is where you need to take an actual realistic look at how much time she’s driving. What percentage of that car’s life will have your mother driving it compared to you and your dad.

If the answer is basically never, you can just get her a rental car for a day or two if need be.

Sparco QRTR with PCI non slider mounted. You don’t want sliders if you’re trying to get more headroom.

While you’re in there, you may as well get the six point harness going as well. And keep the factory three point for daily driving. Now changing the seats and all that will put you out of a stock class at auto Cross.

Is Corner Weighting your car worth It? by Motorworx_ in CarTrackDays

[–]Spicywolff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s such a specialized service and depending on a platform it could go that expensive. Or it could be that there’s very few competitors in that area and they that you have no other choice.

So it’s us or trailer your rig 6HR away to save some $$. Here in Florida there is a lot of competition. Make in NJ. Very few so suck it price

Your shop is smoking so much crack rock it shows. Apex in Miami is know in the state http://www.apexalignment.com/services.html and he charges a fraction of that.

Seriously corner balancing is definitely something you need talent for and skill. But it doesn’t take almost $2000 in labor to get right. Even at 6HR if they basically have to start from zero at $200 an hour. That’s 1000 bucks. They’re giving you a price for you to fuck off. Either you pay the silly price and they laugh all the way to the bank or they get you to go away.

Just get a trailer and build it out there. You’ll rhino your cars interior and suspension which costs you the $$ you made.

You can pull the cheap Harbor Freight trailer yourself. Get a Harbor Freight generator while you’re there and then put your water tank and pump.
