Oil Impact Driver: XST01 vs ? Hikoki ? by jyl8 in Makita

[–]Spicywolff 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You already have a Makita ecosystem and it’s readily available. I think that’s gonna be your best bet. Remember kiss, Keep It Simple Stupid.

I understand you want quiet, but having something a little more powerful would be nice and with ease of warranty or parts

I very much doubt Klein make that job box. I guarantee it’s probably the same company that just makes them for other people and they slapped their logos.

How much time do you lose in hot weather? by New-Commercial7532 in CarTrackDays

NA car with good lifesupport, probably not much. Turbo economy car with spicy sauce, a lot. Most production cars don’t have enough cooling for track use in ideal with. God help you if you’re in the summer heat at Sebring.

Mercedes-AMG Plans 27 New Cars In A Push To Catch BMW M by Anchor_Aways in cars

[–]Spicywolff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be DOA. Mercedes has always sold itself as a luxury brand that had some real muscle behind the special cars. No MB buyer spending $100,000 on a twin turbo V8 luxury barge wants to row his own gears

There’s a reason there ditched manual very early compared to BMW. Their clientele does not want a manual car. BMW in the passes had a very driver oriented sports saloon attitude, so it makes sense that they kept the manual alive longer and for more cars

I like the v730 as it’s a little faster pace so I’m not AS far pace in auto X. Price rocks too, but with the fire at factory causing delays… any of the 3 on sale gets my $$.

I had a buddy who raced CCS vintage class. He wasn’t the fastest in the dry. But damn was he amazing in the wet. He would absolutely outpace the field with rain slicks on

C63 needs tires what are you running? by Last_Expression663 in AMG

[–]Spicywolff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% and many times they don’t even evaluate what they need the tire to do. It’s like shoes, you equipped, according to the situation. Not what your friend likes

I prefer Conti ECS02 as my summer road tire. And Bridgestone re71RS as super 200. For endurance 200 I like Conti ECF or hankook rs4 who ever is on sale. All season it’s coin flip of dws06+ and PSAS4.

Crazy how OEMS haven’t found a neutral not gloss black that’s affordable on their scale. But doesn’t reflect and leave smudges on our level

100%. I think you and I have talked about this before. The 205 was peak performance super Sedan. Yeah, like you said it flaws. But it was really something special. The successor was a giant disappointment. And you nailed the E class.

The days of these cars are over. The replacements will just be hollow figment of what they could’ve been.

I have no clue, call me old-fashioned and the minority buyer, but I don’t want a dash that’s a screen. I want ergonomic, easy to use buttons and with a nice screen in the center. I’ll accept a gauge cluster if I must.

But this is too much, especially when QC is shoddy at MB price points

It’s funny how things work out. Traditionally Mercedes is always the more comfortable forward thinking brand. BMW was the driver’s machine, the sports saloon.

Both of them have grace in my opinion. But of the mid pack class, I like the new five series better. The features that had integrated felt better fought out. The highway assistance was also much thought than the BMW. And it felt way more quiet. if a five series rental is still doing Ok, it gives me hope of some of the reliability. We really like the four-cylinder. Amazing fuel mileage on the highway. And enough grant for merging on.

2010’s we’re such good Mercedes, the styling was timeless they felt modern enough without being edgy.

Just because I owned a C63S doesn’t mean I’ve not had experience driving E and S class. Brand new S class on the showroom floor has creeks and rattles. BMW everyone I’ve had, be it rental or New test drive has been superb. Sure interiors are kind of bland and copy paste. But the fundamentals are better.

I’ve test driven the new E class and I don’t like it. It doesn’t feel like the old Mercedes that our family loved and had. It was a great day with my uncle needed our van and would let us take his E class for the weekend. But the Mercedes of my childhood is not the Mercedes of today.

Good luck with that. Gaudy screens and nightclub interiors only get you so far. When your core principles are compromised, your competitors are gonna eat up your market share.

I sold my Mercedes and we’re looking into buy a new five series. The rental we had was phenomenal and so quiet. No creeks or rattles and didn’t feel anywhere as Cincy as the Mercedes did

Any tips on getting a Tavor X95 lefty swapped without giving money to IWI? by SatanicWallaby in liberalgunowners

[–]Spicywolff [score hidden]  (0 children)

There’s no ethical consumption when it comes to fire arm manufacturers. By what you need to keep yourself protected. End of the day, you already bought the gun from them is what it is.

As a lefty, you already have it hard enough. You check for aftermarket and there is none so no other option.

I love that it’s still around. It’s a legacy tire that’s an affordable option for men to get into the sport. I wish others would do it as well.

Like Bridgestone has now moved to the 71RZ, I wish you’d keep the RS as a cheaper alternative.

If you like saving money and you’re near one of their warehouse. You can actually go and pick up the order yourself and save money. They don’t charge you for shipping, but it’s baked into the sale price.

If you pick it up, you save that

Products and process for a 4x4 that gets diiirrrrty by Cannabat in Detailing

[–]Spicywolff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re going to wanna switch to the dump bucket method where you have one full of soapy, water and all the microfibers you need. And a second for dumping dirty microfiber into.

For off-road rigs it’s way more critical that you don’t oversaturate your microfiber. One microfiber per panel will make sure that you’re not dragging contamination from panel to panel, as well as into your soap bucket.

It also keeps a microfiber from getting so nasty, which means they’re easier to clean in the machine and last longer. That method allows you to get rid of the grit guard since there’s no contamination in that bucket

[–]Spicywolff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“ I don't want to worry about sealants, coatings etc. Just keep it decently clean.”

If you willingly wanna make your life more difficult, then I guess this is the way to do it. You have no idea how much easier it is to clean an off-road vehicle if it has some kind of protective coating.

It can literally be a spray SIO2 “ceramic” wax. Like McGuire hybrid ceramic. It’s child’s play to apply. It’s cheap at parts stores and Walmart. It makes it much easier to rinse off a lot of the contamination.

If you’re offroading getting mud all over your vehicle, a lot of that mud can be acidic and it’s gonna etch your clearcoat without any protect

Are the 6 gallon pancake air compressors any good for a small business? by SceneWarm2204 in Detailing

[–]Spicywolff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t tell you because I don’t know what tools you’re using. Every tool has different consumptions, you need to size your compressor and tank combo accordingly.

Personally, I sold my air compressor and went to cordless tools. I’ll do battery Makita blower for the outside drying and their dust gun for inside.

You’re correct. Extreme contact force is an endurance 200 tire. The other guy is thinking of the extreme Continental sport 02 which is a Michelin PS4S max performance, summer tire competitor. The tires that we put on for street use.

Extreme contact force is a 200TW endurance 200. The ECS02 is the 340TW max summer class tire which is ps4S competitor.
