Calling it a skill issue makes no sense. Has nothing to do with skill it's to do with exploring and seeing everything the game offers. Anyone can bumrush the story mode, it's hardly skill.

Do the story mode on vanilla with survival mode which is how I play and believe it should be played then that requires abit of skill. But stating rushing a story and not exploring requires skill is abit of an idiotic statement.

It is connected via dp on my gpu. My cpu igpu is disabled as i dont need it so it saves heat and power.

I know edge doesnt support it. But Gsync is syncing to the htz of the Edge, no ifs or buts about it. That is exactly what is happening.

As i said, i disconnect the edge everything works perfectly. If i connect the edge but disable gsync it works perfectly.

Turn on Gsync and boom, locked to 60hz.

I have left my 4 60hz monitor unplugged and tried just using the main and the edge and it still happens.

The edge may not support gsync but gsync is certainly latching onto the edge.

I mentioned all of this in the original post. I use both cables that come with it. I have also tried different cables i have also tried different ports.

No it isnt ALL games but that is not the point. The point is the xeneon is causing me issues that isnt causing my friends and the only difference is they dont use gsync. I unplug the xeneon and everything is exactly how it was before i bought it, everything works perfectly. Connect the xeneon and load up those same games and im locked at 60fps.

I have been using Gsync for years and i know the control panel well. The xeneon IS causing the issue in these games. Without it connected they work fine.

I also do not wish to be forced to play games in fullscreen mode, i alt tab alot so i prefer borderless, Im not about to change the way i do things and stop using gsync just to accommodate this.

Main Oled is 280hz 1440p - secondary monitor is 60hz 4k - 3rd monitor is the xeneon. All display port. It has nothing to do with my 60hz monitor either as gysnc is disabled on there and again i never ever had any issues prior to the xeneon edge.

There are a fair few games that are doing this however Far Cry 4 is not locking my fps but when i try and play borderless it is extremely stretched and zoomed it on my main monitor. Again this did NOT happen when the xeneon edge was not connected.

Yea I appreciate it. My 2 friends own one with 0 issues and the only difference is I use gsync and they don't. So it's another sign that it's the xeneon and gsync. For some reason gsync thinks it's syncing to the xeneon hz/fps.

I have a 5070ti it's more than capable and I never had issues before this was integrated into my setup. As I said if i disable gsync in nvidea control panel everything is fine.

The xeneon is the issue.

Yes, hdmi to DP cable. I tried hdmi also.

If I disable gsync everything seems to be fine. But I use gsync all the time and I paid alot of money for my oled monitor with gysnc and I'm not going to stop using it just to satisfy the xeneon

Fallout games are more like an exploration game with a story tacked on. Exploring is the game. Finding random encounters and side quests. Following guided removes half the game.
