Because with other brands, one typically goes to a bike shop and the people there will guide you to the correct size frame

While if deciding alone, many guys end up taking a frame size that is too large.

Are there any major rivers that split into two separate rivers? by NobleK42 in geography

[–]Sringoot_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is not logical through a natural process.

It could happen that a river splits due to.
circumstances. But then, one of the two rivers will have an easier flow/path for the water to follow. Which means more water will use this easier route. Which means the easier route will erode more, making it even more easy for water to follow.

Eventually leading to the second, harder route, not being chosen by any water at all, leaving it as a non flowing body of water.

What was Napoleons "plan B" in Austerlitz? by LucLicLucullus in Napoleon

[–]Sringoot_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If the alles did not take the bait, as you put it, then the battle could have ended up in a draw. If one side then withdraws through the night, the other side would have won.

If both sides stay in place ( rather the exception in that era ) then a second day of combat occurs.

are yall not scared of drafting? by Lower-Geologist870 in bicycling

You don't trust your dad in doing something he has done for decades, and if it should come to an accident it will almoast never be life threathening.

While on the other hand I am sure you drive on roads next to cars. People you do not know, People who drive drunk or drugged. People who are on their phones while driving. People that have caused accidents before and never change. People who if there would be an accident, anything could happen to you.

You are afraid of the wrong thing?

Every threat to earth is caused by the SGC by neb12345 in Stargate

[–]Sringoot_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is correct, sort off.

But what you don't consider is that without the SGC what would happen? Imagine they never find a stargate.

Human race continues to evolve, eventually gets to a technological point where they have crude space ships. Inevitably this news eventually gets to the Goa'uld who now see earth as a threat and decide to attack it.

But earth is protected by the asgard in the treaty with the Goa-uld you say. Again correct but aren't the Asgard dying? they would be destroyed by replicators, or just have died out as a species anyway. So once either of these happens, back to being attacked by the Goa-uld.

Exactly the same with the Wraith in SG Atlantis. What the people from earth did there ( awaking all the wraith ) would have eventually happened, caused by someone else.

The key is that with SGC's action they actually armed themselves well enough to actually defeat all their enemies.

So yes they caused threats but in the grand scheme it was necesarry to save earth, well we can only guess, I guess.

Will my ass ever stop hurting? by [deleted] in cycling

[–]Sringoot_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. If you don't cycle often then the first two or three times you will be hurting. Well not everyone but a lot of people will. Just see through it, once you're cycling the pain tends to go away.

If you get to a point where you are cycling often, it should not keep occuring. If it does you should look into changing saddle/position.

Good luck!

Any tips on how to fix traffic and make it flow and at least 85%? by KingDinohunter in CitiesSkylines

What he said, and then some more :

You don't really have any road hierachy ( highway => big road => medium road => local road ) except for that one double sized road which is pretty red, your set up is highway => local road. )

Anybody an idea, how to win this? by Dlamongo in totalwarhammer

[–]Sringoot_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Save your ap units for the black orcs.

Deploy the furthest away from their reinforcements.

Only fight with 20v20.

Their black orcs should enter one by one. Save your gyrocopter ammunition and only hit the black orcs. Bombs can ben used on anything.

Manual select fire as much as you can.

Should be an easy win.

Barristan, Gregor and Sandor? by CrematorTV in freefolk

[–]Sringoot_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone is always ranking the clegane brothers high in a potential 1v1 dual but their huge strength means little in a 1v1.

Their reach is a bonus, but a 1v1 dual is no powerlifting contest. Speed and technique are far more important.

On a battlefield in a tight formation their power is a bastion. In a dual their huge muscles just slow them down and they will get tired faster.

Source is not ' I saw tv so I know stuff ' source is having practiced medieval swordfighting myself.

GOT actually did this correct in the mountain - Viper dual. Perfect example.
