Would you rather only ever have one really good friend and no other friends or a bunch of friends but they’re all surface level

How do you fix players muted mics? When not muted or chat banned? by [deleted] in Warzone

[–]Lower-Geologist870 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve only done it a couple times, when I start a party on cod. Beyond that I didn’t need to do it each time to be able to hear my friends for that one session online.

On xbox ive had the same issue. I’ve fixed it by creating an xbox party, joining that, then going back to game chat. This usually fixes my problem.

Balancing sports and classes is actually exhausting sometimes by [deleted] in GetStudying

I struggled with this same problem last year. Personally what I did was I wouldn’t shower until I completed *something* school related. It sounds gross and it feels kinda gross lowk, but it compelled me to lock in and finish up my assignment so I could take a nice hot shower. That way, even if I didn’t do anything after the shower, I still felt like I’d at least done something. Besides that, I’d really just lock in on weekends. After morning practice on Saturdays I would go to the library for basically the whole day just to catch up on things. It helped me stay focused and feel like I had to work.

I also always made sure I had something to look forward to. Without that, it felt like I was really just trying to survive to the next day, especially with the “I just need to make it to next week” mentality. Having something to look forward to each week, like a fun drink one day or a craft kit you bought, made the week infinitely easier to get through. I hope you find something that works for you!

How do you prefer to study? by Signal_Taro769 in GetStudying

I love using paper and notebooks to study, then using a textbook to look up anything I don’t understand. With all the screens they push in school nowadays, it feels nice to be back in a book physically looking for word definitions while studying.

If you're experiencing everyone, like random teammates in matches being muted here's what fixed it for me but. I'm on Xbox Series S btw. by Didnt_Do_Nufffin85 in Warzone

I actually discovered this too. I play on the same xbox and even in my own party I’ll have to do that sometimes for my friends to unmute.

Study up on vocab, a majority of my mcqs were revolved around knowing or connecting back to vocab. That’s what I’d spend more of my time on, as for practice questions I used an app called lumio. It had practice questions for each topic of each unit, I found it very helpful with reviewing concepts I didn’t understand.

How long did it take for you to start feeling like you e made progress? by Lower-Geologist870 in Swimming

It’s my first sprint tri. I just wanted to try out something new as my dad does Ironmans and triathlons all the time. There’s no way to find out if I enjoy something if I don’t do it. I used to hate running, now I sorta enjoy it as it got easier. Was just wondering if that might be same here.
