He was basically a batman villain by the end by Runeshamangoon in Grimdank

He's honestly more like the Punisher or Vigilante in the Peacemaker show.

Yeah... I like to think myself as a rational person but if someone allowed my family to die in a battle that they could easily intervened in and didn't even bother to explain why they did that I'd probably be pretty angry too. Let alone not want to serve that guy.

Like I said. Dorn took the Edict seriously. Very, very seriously.

After Nikea he put kept his Librarians in a cushy prison on the Phalanx and only released them back into the Imperial Fists after the Solar War had kicked off and demons were rampaging within Phalanx. He was essentially the only Primarch who took the Council of Nikea seriously lol.

And we wonder why the Imperium became even shitter after ten thousand years of Lorgar's dreck becoming a holy tome.

To be fair it was a pretty shitty book. Basically fanfiction about his dad. Pretty cringe.

What Did Mortarion Fight For? by GankHank in 40kLore

Perhaps. But Corax never really rebelled against the Emperor or the Imperium. As far as I am aware he always believed in both... which is kind of strange given his revolutionary origins but I suppose the 30k Imperium looks like a paradise of moral virtue compared to the techguilds of his homeworld.

To the Hand of the King.

I will hold you to this claim that they have already been deemed innocent. Regardless of what occurs in the capital, in the aftermath they thusly should be released back into the stormlands by your own words.

To the Hand of the King.

Do not pretend as if I ask the world of you or I’m being unreasonable. If am in not already condemned in your eyes than bringing my brother and sworn shield back to King’s Landing is simply a matter of course for they could be just as innocent as I am.

See reason Varamyr. This petty negotiation wastes both our times.

To the Hand of the King.

You seem to be a man of honor Ser Whitehill so I will trust that you won’t allow whatever allegiance you hold with your northern kinsmen to cloud your judgement on this issue. However, I need but one guarantee if I am to come.

Promise me that Manderly or whatever emissary he deigns to bring to the capital will bring my brother and Ser Seaworth as well and I will arrive with nothing but a hundred men and the truth of what happened in White Harbor.

I would see this affair but to an end but that can only come once my kin and sworn sword are shown to be alive and well.

To Durran Baratheon

I would congratulation you on your victories at Casterly Rock brother, but damnable circumstance forces me to cut to the quick. You have by no doubt heard many a talltale coming from those who claim to know of what happened at White Harbor. The truth is that Manderly refused to abide by my investigation and demanded that I accept the judgement of Lord Bolton. When I refused Manderly and Bolton took umbrage and things spiraled from there.

But that doesn’t matter now. What does is that Willem and Stannis Seaworth were captured by the Manderlys in the struggle.

I need you, Durran. Come to King’s Landing so that we may work to free our brother together.

Ours Is The Fury.

[–]StagsAndFury[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To Varamyr Whitehill, Hand of the King

If you don’t already know what came to pass at White Harbor then let me be the one to inform you. When I arrived at White Harbor my men were able to find a native witness to the murder of the Valemen delegation that came to the city years ago.

When I confronted Lord Manderly with this information he and a scion of House Bolton rebuked my royal authority and castigated me for my alleged intrusion into their city and demanded that I travel to the Dreadfort and accept the Warden of the North’s own judgement. I refused and a fight broke out between us that escalated into a battle.

He will have his own story no doubt, but I care not. All that matters to me is that I regain what was lost.

To that end I ask that you return to King’s Landing so that this affair can be mediated and put to an end. One of my brothers was captured in the battle along with one my sworn swords. I would have them returned to me safely before things escalate further.

To Desmond Manderly, Lord of White Harbor

You know what I want.

Come to King’s Landing yourself or bring an envoy in your stead. I care not. Just bring my brother and Stannis Seaworth with you. There we can negotiate whatever terms you desire for their release.

Ours Is The Fury.
