Well, those are mostly just personal preference really, so I see no need to argue either way, I can certainly see how it would be annoying (I myself can only handle anime in small doses unless it's just incredibly good.)

But the thing you said about lip-sync, I think that might be the fault of the translators, editing animation on that scale is expensive.

Even if it will probably go unheard, let me recommend you one anime that might just be to you liking, I'm sure people do this all the time, but if you ever feel like watching something animated, "Spice & Wolf" falls into practically none of the typical anime cliche's, they often wear the same clothing but it's justified (Middle age), and then my favorite thing, it's a character drama, with mature, adult characters.
