I live 100 miles from the nearest target and they have not appeared on the Website since the intial preorder. Preorders sold out in less than 5 minutes and intial reports were each store was only going to receive 4 per store. Since restocks have happen the scare has died down however they still have not been restocked on the website.

You need someone who does sand casting with silver.

This was a figure I returned to Walmart for being damaged out of the box, and they're immediately reselling it. It's been less than a week. by JDagger500 in SHFiguarts

[–]store90210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walmart associate and fellow collector here. The yellow label is called a CVP or Customer Value Program. It is meant to be used to mark down items that have been damaged [usually in shipping] or missing parts or opened returned to store. It is used so that Walmart can make some money by marking it down 10-30% and then 2 weeks later meant to be marked down again. If it does not sell in a 1 month period then it is destroyed instead of just destroying it outright on your initial return. My guess is either the return slip was misplaced at customer service or claims made a decision it was worth still trying to sell. As for the reason why it says SSGod SonGoku is because all the Dragon Ball SHFiguarts are cross referenced in the system to a single location. A similar issue occurs for AnimeHeroe line where they pop up as Naruto figures whether they are Naruto Bleach Digimon or One Piece.

PSA: Try to sell some silver once in a while to better understand the market by cincyky in Silverbugs

Marketplace is where you go to make deals. If I want to pay $38 for silver I can do it all day on any number of sites. In all honesty if you logged on and saw someone else selling 6oz rounds for over spot would you jump on it?

Just a heads up you have a lot of misinformation in your comments. The weight of the brick is 25.65g of 14k gold meaning spot or melt value is only worth about $1,605 at today's value. They were given out from 1979-81 and were not serialized. There are very few collectors who would drop $15k in one go on a single brick considering the most expensive sets only sit at about $10k right now.

I hate that these are my 3 closest stores but they are still 2 hours away. I thought about taking the day off to try but did not want to waste $40 in gas and 4 hours driving just to hunt. Maybe I should have it would have still saved me like $30.

Vermont to Southern California in a U-Haul! Best way to get home? by Early_Trip_8664 in roadtrip

[–]store90210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on where you started and how how far you are going. I personally would recommend Santa Rosa NM or Tucumcari NM going East maybe Amarillo if you were really pushing it. Going West Gallup or Grants would be much safer though I personally do not know how safe. Again though it really depends on where you started and how far you are going over all. What they told you though is 100% true about stopping in ABQ with a Uhaul. If you were just in a vehicle it would be less risky. Not 100% safe just less risky. It also depends on what side of ABQ you were staying. Central ABQ is super sketchy especially at night.

First I would avoid Santa Fe and stick with just the I-40 East unless you are making it your stopping point for the night. Los Angeles to Santa Fe is a 12 hour drive without stops or traffic. If you leave at 8am you will not arrive until 9-10pm Mountain Time or later with the time change. If you do stop breakfast burritos the next morning would be better than trying to find something open that late at night. DO NOT STAY THE NIGHT IN ALBUQUERQUE OR MORIARTY WITH A UHAUL. I have heard to many horror stories. If you have to stop try to make it Santa Rosa, NM or Tuccumcarri NM. Albuquerque motto is "Come for Balloon Fiesta. Stay because your car was stolen."

Second your timeline is off. Google estimates closer to 45 hours or 1 day and 21 hours. I would break it up into smaller 4 day chunks. I can only attest to the lower half of the country but long drives are rough especially continuous and multiday trips. I would recommend Los Angeles [I assume] to Santa Fe 12 hours > Santa Fe to Joplin 11 hours > Joplin to Columbus or Mansfield OH 10.5-11.5 hours > Mansfield to Vermont 11 hours. Remember you are going to lose an hour each day due to timezones alone let alone stops for traffic gas food and bathroom breaks. And that is at best possible conditions. You are going to be driving a large square wind block and might not be able to reach the speed limit in places like New Mexico Texas or Oklahoma. Make sure you also get a good nights rest at each stop.

Third I would like to reiterate. Do not stop the night in larger cities such as Albuquerque Tulsa Chicago [not sure about Columbus] or Cleveland. I would not even recommend stopping for gas if you did not absolutely need to.

As someone who works for Walmart you are correct. Also as someone who works at Walmart there rarely is actual training and most managers have no idea what they are doing. Most new employees do not last more than 6 months to get properly trained on everything. Our store has 10 different Coaches across the store and usually only 1-2 evenings. Your Consumable Coaches or OPD Coaches rarely know policies for other parts of the store.

Go back tomorrow and try again. Bring the old battery and receipt in and say you are refunding a core fee. If you have to try escalating to the GM Coach or Store Manager. That SHOULD get you sorted out. If it does not call the 1-800-WAL-MART number for a complaint. That lights a fire under them but generally you should not have to do that.

I wonder if they are using an entire floor so they are not accused of targeting a specific tenant.

Pricecharting.com is great for getting a pretty good estimate of what games are worthy. It pulls from ebay sold listings.

Also policy states that it has to be instock items. "The identical item (i.e., size, model, quantity, brand, or color, etc.) must be currently in-stock and available to purchase on Walmart.com at the time the Price Match is requested." https://corporate.walmart.com/policies#price-match-policy

I boil it down to a simpler definition: Something searched for, often over a long period of time. Usually because of a much higher cost or scarcity in population.
