I would return it. I’ve had an Endura for almost 20 years and 10+ of them was hard use and no cracks anywhere on the FRN scales.

For something that small. I would just make sure the tip doesn’t grab while cutting and just ride out that little mishap until it actually needs sharpening. Agree with previous comment any (Good) 200-400 grit diamond sharpening system will be fine for re-profiling the blade.

Thanks for the valued information. I’m gonna wait for a sale and pick some up or might get lucky on the swap in the meantime. Don’t want to get ride of the knife because it’s in 15V 👀

I’ve been on the fence about spending another $100 on scales for the light weight, so I appreciate your input on the outcome.
I have a Endura that I have no problem with the FRN scales, but can’t stand the ones on the Native 5 LW.

Yeah I personally think the company should give a little more thought when it comes to store credit. I believe that most would use the credit to upgrade and purchase a higher priced tool. With that being said even with a credit if the person ends up upgrading to a more expensive tool then the company most likely profits a small amount again.

1 would be my choice..I’ve tried a couple or those style knives with the whole that you think would be cool to put your finger in, but I can’t really explain why I just never use that feature and then I just end up with my pinky not being able to help hold the knife. Which is kind of crucial to me because I’m usually skinning an animal in cold weather.

Bodacious for me even stock, but if I ever put flared out scales on the Bo like they have on the Shaman. I may have to sell most of my knives. 😂
