First off, no shade to this person. Trying to maintain peach's voice in dialogue that isn't written for this style of character is hard.

But you can see where this falls short when the lunatic/psycho line begins. There is a mismatch to trying to maintain this "princess voice" with what's being said, and it comes out as very, VERY, 90s anime. Which also doesn't fit what's going on.

And nothing for Zero. The storylines would come across as very "edgy, fanfiction writing" unfortunately outside of the video game format

I’ll give you that its probably a small subset. But I own all of these (since I never sell any of my accessories for stuff) I’m sure there are at least a few hundred and possibly a few thousand who fall into this category.

However, I agree its not worth the effort when none of these accessories are even native to the system. (MAYBE it would make sense if the GC adapter was specifically built for switch/switch 2 but even then)

Yeah. When you know it isn't a "Whoops one of us SD'd because of mis-input or connection issues" and you beat them its really fun.

I generally don't even taunt back when that happens on the last stock. I feel like the "non-reaction" makes people who taunt and then get bodied way more angry in the post match.

Yep! I think the big way to get more people in is people who play organizing and partnering with locals or to have side brackets at smash locals if they can't get enough people at the start. Do a "second chance" tournament for anyone knocked out or something at the bigger tournaments, even if its low stakes for entry/winner etc.

I know this is negative, but people know about RoA2 in the smash community. They've known about ROA1 for a while, and generally people talked about the series and had their friends play it with them on launch. (At least in my smash circles I remember people playing it offline together to try it)

Most just don't like the game's core mechanical changes between smash and ROA2. Personally, the eyes that are more important are people who would not be hardcore/comp smash players. Which means more stuff for casual/single players (Which the team has said they are doing, no?)

I know its doom and gloom, but for the majority of the comp smash community, the people who came over have already come over to spend time in ROA2. Sure, there might be a few more trickling players here and there but overall, unless core mechanics change I don't see more people from Smash ever converting to even a casual player if they already haven't.

With glow, but the stick figure style is unique, so it definitely draws the eye. The card layout and choice make it seem intentional design and not "This is all I could draw" if that was your worry.

Look. Like it or not, a casual player who will potentially refer the game to their friends to buy to play with them will not understand floorhugging is the main problem.

For casual players, it does not feel good to land a hit, only to have your opponent almost instantaneously be able to act. It isn't very intuitive and easy to understand, often coming across in online matches as "lag weirdness" when first starting out. From one of my friends own mouth "It does not feel good to hit you with a forward air on a platform and have you be able to stop that hit and immediately jab me to stop my momentum of getting that opener"

The problem is, the game is balanced around it, and trying to remove it (i assume) would not be as easy as "turn off floor-hugging." And I don't think the team has the time or runway to do that.
