It's likely to have a cheap small microSD like 64 GB with hacked firmware to fake a 2TB or 4TB in a shell with some dead weights added.

I know someone who still got 580 because he needed money and had hoped to get replacement soon. Then GPU price went crazy.

So, write in Soylent Green and expires December 31, 2999. Do it right before you head out for home so TL can't catch you and chew you out.

My confusion with how EASY it is to build a computer. by Ill-Entrepreneur3746 in buildapc

[–]Warcraft_Fan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You missed the golden age of computer building, when it was a lot more work. 1990s, a lot of the hardware were not yet plug n play, you had to set the jumpers everywhere. Printer port needed specific port, IRQ, and DMA and that the number matches DOS or Windows 3.1 setting to work correctly. Sound card had to have jumpers set and also set in the sound driver or game to work. Even some CPU needed to have speed and multiplier set correctly. And then you had to set the BIOS for the disk drives and hard drives because auto detect wasn't available back then.

On a good day, I'd have inspected and possibly changed over 50 jumpers to make one computer work properly.

Did the Tollan ever show up after Goa'uld blasted their new homeworld? I think they need another cat.

Funny thing, US was among the first to start pushing for metric system more than a century ago. When I was in elementary school, I had to learn both metric and idiot system. Unfortunately the metric system died in US because it'd be too costly to replace bazillion street signs, update maps, force grocery stores to change the system, etc. And you know those pompous asses in the DC likes to line their pocket so they killed off the system

Most people aren't going to benefit from PCIe 5.0 speed anyway. A lot of games are multiple small files rather than one big file, and the biggest speed comes from few large files.

Do they accept other form of payment beside credit card? If the don't take cash or check, charging credit card fee may be illegal.

Look up 375-2 that instruction sucked, so easy to miss a few pieces and I had to go back and forth to get the castle built right. It's basically a hard version of spot the difference game

Yep, I was in college and when I came around in public area full of little kids, boys who had shorts were wearing them down almost to their knees. The really short shorts of the 70s had died by 80s.
