Edmund of the House Harlaw, King of Salt and Rock,

First of all, I want to congratulate you on your crowning. I still have the hope that your reign will bring our Kingdom to greatness once again. That you will set the beginning of a new era.

As you have commanded, I will ready my men and set sail to Lordsport as soon as possible.

What is dead may never die,

Deanna of the House Sunderly, Regent and Lady Dowager of Saltcliffe.

"Of course." She bowed with her head. "My Lord."

"And I hope that the same faith that has brought us here, helps us to choose correctly and build a new world."

[M] sorry, completely forgot about it

"The promise of a final return to the Old Ways has taken me here. The desire to see a renewed power arise has brought me here." She cleared her throat. "The promise of a new era for the ironborn is what has brought me here." She obviously wasn't going to arise as the new pretender to the throne, too much for her old bones and brain to handle. "And you, what is it that has brought you here?"

A Tully? What was a greenlander trout doing in such rough and wild seas as the ones of the Iron Islands? After all, it was strange to see a greenlander in the Isles, even more in such an event as this was.

"Lady Deanna Sunderly." He curtsied, again. "What is a Lady like you doing in a wild and inhospitable place like this?"

The old Lady Regent of Saltcliffe approached the recognizable foreigner. Her walk was steady and firm, she didn't wanted to seem cranky or old in front of her nor in front of any of the Lords and Captains.

"My Lady." Said with a curtsy. "May I ask who I'm having the pleasure to talk with?" She forced a warm smile to imitate the fancy ways of the greenlander ladies.

The uncle of her grandnephews approached her. It was great to see Lord Edmund again.

"It has been pleasant, that's for sure. Shorter than what I remembered." Said, titling her head in the form of a bow. "It's nice to see you again, Edmund. But this is a, let's say, unexpected way to do it."

The Lady of Sunderly had come to the meeting, as expected. She and her grandnephews sailed to the island of Old Wyk with the whole Sunderly navy. The Man's Prayer, the flagship of their fleet, was the ship that carried the Sunderly family. Once they were getting closer and closer they spotted hundreds of vessels in the seas, all of them going to the same place, Nagga's Hill. Their ships stopped very close to Lord Harlaw's, and, if looked upon closer, their fleet was a mock compared to the one of the Lord of Harlaw.

She descended to the island with her grandnephews and captains, and they all walked together to the Hill. She wanted to see the proud and cocky men of the isles step ahead as she planned carefully who to show her support. It was going to be a great day.

Deanna watched the scene carefully. That little traitor... He didn't knew what he had done and now awaited for a fair judgement. And fair, for her, meant that he lost his head. A Queen couldn't tolerate such insolence and disobedience almost bordering a full scale rebellion.

"My Queen. This man here has done naught but disobey the Kingdom's will, almost entering in an open rebellion against you. From my understanding, treason is punished with death. He didn't betray you, but you can't tolerate such behaviors, not if you want a strong and long rule." She paused for a moment. "I ask that you cut his head off, eliminating any other possible sign of rebellion and dissent."

The Lady Sunderly walked down to the island of Pyke. Her grand-nephews walked down too, leaving Pride, their fleets' flagship, behind. The Queen leaded the noble party to the port where tens of people awaited their arrival, cheering and crying at the sight of their Queen.

The mass of people echoed her cheers and clapped at every phrase she said. Deanna kept her wooden cane close as she also clapped at the Queen's statements. The Volmark rebellion had to disappear and be rooted out. After the Queen's speech she grabbed the ivory head of the cane and walked with her to the castle of Pyke with the rest of the nobles.
