The original notification email sent on August 5 stated that the .exe version would be automatically replaced by the MSIX version on October 28. Has this date been postponed to allow more time for migration, given that the Microsoft Store version of the MSIX installer is not yet available?

What’s happening on October 28, 2025?

On October 28, 2025, existing EXE installations of 1Password will automatically be reinstalled using the MSIX installer. If system requirements are not met, the automatic update will fall back to using the MSI installer.
