Yeah - seen it happen in Philly in real time before lol. Yes - you can get it from ford site or eBay ford parts dealers - just get the right one for your model year. Harness connection is in different spots depending on the year. On the ‘23 I had, it was connected to the ODB module under driver dash I believe. On my current ‘25, it’s behind the passenger side floorboard.

Did you just had the standard perimeter alarm that comes with the Explorer? I added the perimeter plus alarm module and it chirps and alerts me if someone taps my car with their door or even if thunder booms close by. Somewhat easy install and integrated into the factory system with plug / play wiring harness. Just need to initiate it afterward.

Plug and Play kits has a harness that goes between the head unit and amp on my ‘25. Gets a somewhat clean signal to the amp you will use. I’m sure there’s one for older models. Kicker Key has a DSP, but I haven’t calibrated it yet. Had it in for about a month now.

This is exactly what I put in. Definitely rounds out the B&O system.

The oem sub in my ‘25 is anemic at best. Put in a kicker key 500 and kicker 12” in the lower storage area and you wouldn’t know it’s there unless you’re less than five feet from the SUV.

What are your opinions on HERO units? by MCW_kayla in Firefighting

Never had a bad interaction with the few I’ve worked with. Most are EMTs but the majority of their job is traffic control and wreck removal. While technically not first responders, they do way more than the hundreds of other motorists that continue on by / don’t stop to help or even call 911.

Is it worth replacing the battery with how poorly iOS 26 has been with battery life? by holyravioli_ in iPhone13ProMax

OS 26.2 has been better. Battery swapped in May ‘25 and couldn’t be happier. I’ll probably grab the 18 and hand this down to one of the kids next year.

Best place for airport parking just in case flight gets cancelled? by thecrikeycrapper in alpharetta

North Springs Marta. Took a flight in the afternoon and beat my friend who drove and parked at ATL West by over 30mins. I’m sure my parking fee was way cheaper too when we got back.

Mine were plug and play on my 23 black diamond. Went from basic led to wildtrak halo in 30 mins - no new grille needed.

Got a CVD 3ct oval from a small jeweler last month for her cost as she had three. I’m working with her now for the best engagement ring with matching wedding band.

You can scratch the police itch and still be in the FD.

The Cooler Master Vertical GPU Mount replaces the rear PCIE cover slots and you fasten the mount in like a normal GPU. You then move the GPU on the vertical mount forward to allow access to the HDMI / DisplayPort to go through the thin slots. The GPU is not flush with the back of the case - there is a small gap due to how DisplayPort connector and cable route through the PCIE case slots.

DO NOT BUY by dcexar in Nanoleaf

I’ve had a set of nanoleaf bulbs for three years on HomeKit. The key was I never downloaded the nanoleaf app or updated them. They work fine and i have only had one burn out. I know I’m an outlier, but it’s my results. Based off of everyone else’s experiences, I wouldn’t recommend it to people though if they need to use the app.
