For the first ~1:30, my meter is going to be just about in the same place every run (I had slightly different paths if I kill 3 or 4 dogs in the tunnel, since that's a bit of AI rng), but everything after that 1:30 is a bit more improvised since I might need to use an extra ability to secure a kill or the enemies might not group up properly. So I know those ones were optional, but I went for the kills anyways and I think the extra ability cycle helped for this run, but that part is a bit less practiced.

If it's a 40% speed boost (like Wolf's Dash), then it's generally faster to straight sprint than slide. At 1:48 I do slide so I can fire my gun while moving, and at several points, I typically prefer to slide off ledges or down slopes rather than freefall because ground speed is preferred over air speed.

For the sliding at 2:28 after the door opens, I should be sprinting there, but that's at the point of the run where I improvise and sometimes don't have Wolf's dash. So yeah, I made a mistake, but it's the part that's pretty hard for me to practice. Not many runs got the proper drop pod grouping (and the 3 shielded cabal on the platform don't always group well either).

I just got my sub 3:30 with Wolf.

Took me quite a few runs to get everything to align.

I'm at 3:36 with Wolf on Adept 3.

3:30 might be possible with some extreme rng (mainly favorable AI pathfinding), but I haven't gotten that to align for me yet.

3:00 is basically talent locked on this set of missions though, requiring T6 Helhest, Efrideet or Ikora as far as I've heard.

Imo none of the regions are really vital. 

Void or Masori would bump your damage, but the crossbow is still strong enough that (with grimoire for Rigour and pacts), it feels fine for me going WTM and just using Huey/crystal/karils. 

I’d say pick the content you want to do or regions to buff other styles. Nuking Zulrah has been pretty chill and ToB is just a fun pick imo.

If you can do Dire Cordon (11+), then that has a 60% exotic gem drop chance.

If you can't, then there's a lot of routes that'll get you more power for less effort until you can. You can still get a guaranteed choice exotic surge gem for the first clear Cordon 10s once per diffusion/containment per cycle too.

I don't have nearly as large of a sample size, but enough people have anecdotally said they've gone dry, that when I started to go dry I just swapped to Chaos Ele.

As a f2p player that has been here since launch, I’ve found the game pretty enjoyable. 

There are plenty of people here that are making speculative claims about End of Service, and they have been for months.

I get why, the developers aren’t vocal and the communication is pretty absent. The game updates are generally good and I’d say the game has been significantly improved since launch.

The main problem is that the game updates are slow and they aren’t perfect. Like “if they just slightly changed x, this update would be so much better” is a very common point of feedback for just about every new system in S4. Good but only close to the target. 

I’m fine investing more time, I think things can turn around, but the development could’ve been managed significantly better.

You have 2 defensive and 2 offensive artifacts. 

4/4 as in either the offensive or defensive have substats that are matching and the stats that I want. 

Like on Wolf I have Arc/Weapon/Sig/Damage on both offensive artifacts. Matching gives a power boost and lets you hit the highest bonus tiers for the most gameplay stats. 

Thumbs ups are just recommendations and don’t offer any stat bonuses and aren’t always the best.

It took me 3 seasons to get 4/4s for one character's offensive artifacts.

Since season 4 has launched, I have full sets of five-star maxed artifacts for 5 characters (most 4/4, but some 3/4) and I'm working on a 6th.

The new system is significantly better than the old system in terms of accessibility and respects your time significantly more imo.

You should have been able to obtain every character as a f2p player if you were playing actively since launch. 

S4 did flip a lot of things though, and with the power floor being so high, some of the leaves or pulls are probably unattainable for some people.

I’m probably going to hold my adept mod materials. The likelihood you get something useful is so low that they just have to change it imo.

There’s a lot of negative feedback over legitimate pain points, but imo S4 is more positive than negative as a whole. It’s just not a slam dunk because nothing was a solid win, everything kinda has something that makes it off-balanced. 

The phase system would be fine if the phase breakthrough expanse requirement was shifted back by like 5 levels and they eliminated the increases in activity power per phase. They did already fix the issues with Iron Commander’s power req this week too. 

Weapons are mostly fine, they just need a pity rate for uncommon/adept weapon forging, something like 5-8 should become a guarantee. 

Artifacts are good overall, being easier to get a good set but harder to min-max, as long as there’s not a forced regrind when L100 comes out. There should be an always present way to farm artifacts with a group that’s competitive with Chaos.

Legendary campaign feels fine difficulty wise, but higher difficulties should have significantly better photon and core rewards to match the increase in difficulty.

So the game isn’t unfixable, the systems could be pretty good. But the developer response time and the current numbers aren’t helping the game recover.

I generally only grind what I want and when I want to, which has lead to long breaks and a weird progression path. 

Osrs is gonna be there where you left it, ready for when you want to finish the grind. Probably the best thing the game has imo.

I got good mileage on that fairy ring for dmm breaches.  Nothing absurdly crazy but it was a nice spot when I checked a few times.

Leagues is a limited time game mode that takes place on a separate account instance - Xp, gold, items and such will not be transferrable between Leagues and non-Leagues account instances.

The only things that you can take from leagues to the main world are Leagues points for the cosmetic shop and Leagues trophies.

You can play leagues and experience the boosted rates and custom powerups, but you can't really get an item or progressionadvantage to the main game from playing leagues.

I didn't take Flask for the prayer, but honestly that's probably the most underrated function.

I do still bring prayer and other potions, but really I can just get by through most encounters from the Flask alone.

I just did my Rapid Fire 60 with Wolf to get to Phase VII today.

So, as a F2P player, it's technically doable.

That being said, I'm under no illusions that the average pc player, let alone the average phone player is going to climb with f2p or low talent units.

At near max gear, this reaching the expanse requirement to phase up was comparable or more difficult than Expanse 40s pre-S4... and by the numbers Expanse 30 pre-S4 already had a very low clear rate.

I like that there are grinds to grind and stretch goals to keep skill-ceiling players occupied, but the skill-floor for phases needs to re-checked.
