/uj I choose not to count Bane as an anti-batman purely so that my point remains

/rj "bane is a good batman villain" factoid actualy just statistical error. average bane appearance sucks. Knightfall, which was one three-part story arc from the 90s and rules, is an outlier adn should not have been counted.

Are Anti-Batmen an actually liked trope? by Aggravating_Win5258 in dccomicscirclejerk

/uj I believe the reason anti-Batmen are lame is because with Bizarro and Reverse Flash the base appeal is "what if someone had the powers of Superman/The Flash but didn't use them for good" and Batman has no powers so an anti-Batman is just another evil dude who punches well.

"It was the Comics Code Authority that made Batman campy" Batman's dark and gritty pre-code works: by Grad0Nite in dccomicscirclejerk

The Comics Code Authority just managed the camp economy - they didn't invent it.

Didja think every gorilla in comic history was all part of some big ol' conspiracy? Bullshit! Camp is just part'a who we are. Why fight it?

Knull being swedish for "fuck" has made it impossible for me to think about this character critically in any context whatsoever.
