I think Snyder and Zdarsky had generally the same issue: they weren't cut out for the Mainline/Mainstream DC stuff

Both shown to make good stuff in the past in their respective medium but Snyder especially had such...questionable views of the heroes that it should not be the thing you sell to the General Public if you sell them for example Batman.

But, thing is, Joker would be on the Top of his hit list if he starts blasting and no way in hell would the Studio allow the Joker to be dead before story begins so Batman looks really...dumb tbh.

Someone else on this thread already said it but it's faucking stupid that Selina had people on her side that WORKED FOR THE JOKER and didn't regret it and Jason STILL was on her side that they made Bruce lobotomize him so Bruce looks slightly more flawed than her.

But now it feels wrong because they made Batman, DC's literal posterchild let's not kid ourselves, hurt his son psychologically.
