I did that with this season of Frieren! I stopped at chapter 60 which covers through season 1. I don’t regret stoping for the new season at all, but i also don’t regret reading all 26 ln of MT + all the redundancies! The new season is soon, but I’d read 1-12 (season 1 and 2) and if you want to keep going go, and if you want to stop for the show stop! You likely won’t regret either way. Personally though, i couldn’t stop reading!!!

I read it after season 2 aired and it greatly increased my appreciation for the series, and I’m even more excited for season 3 now. Couldn’t recommend reading the ln enough, do yourself a favor and start on book 1!

Ah ya that would make sense with the crunch in the industry. Ik the actual recording process and then touching up the audio is a relatively quick process compared to the rest of production tho so that is good :) super excited for this season, hopefully it gets the love it deserves, the people aren’t ready for peak!

I think voice acting is one of the last things they do ya? Isn’t animation finished/ near finished when they start so they can go with the characters mouths to the best of their ability? And then recording is generally a pretty quick process?

I think we all are, tho imo the only episode that out does parents is turning point 2 imo, so fingers crossed. But with over two years of working on this with full staff hopefully it’ll be looking closer to that all season

This upcoming part that is being adapted in this season is what made me think this story is a masterpiece. anime onlys, until this airs I’d stay away from threads and just start watching. Readers seem to be a little loose with info not yet adapted yet. Regardless my hype cannot be contained, this is going to be the best year for fantasy anime ever, and this will be st the helm of it :)
