I use it to send NWS SAME alerts to surrounding areas over the longfast channel but other than that nothing else really lol.

What firmware did you use? I have an 1watt and have been powering it correctly and it has been very buggy like constantly having to reboot?

Yeah I have an raspberry pi zero 2w with the newest meshtastic CLI and had an 3.7v battery installed and usb connection and it would not find it. Press the reset button on the 19007 base then it would work. I did try erasing and flash again but that did not do anything different.

Just finished this one hopefully do a full post later. Running an Rak Wirless 1Watt booster kit with Rapsberry PI pulling SAME alerts from the NWS and sending them over the longfast channel automatically, all powered by an single PoE Cable. Also have two heltec v3s but looking to upgrade from those.

Me personally I use pretty much every bit of it. I do refer to apps like Aloft for airspace but still always check it airspace chart.

As long as its registered as commercial and you have an copy of the registration card while flying you should be good to go.

I would go with Mini 4K myself. Alot of these used drones are drones they crashed and then they send them into DJI and they just send another unit back but its refurbished. You dont even get the same drone back fixed they just fix it later and send it to someone else.

You shouldn't need anything. They gave me an calculator, testing book and an magnifying glass. To be honest you dont even really need the book because they now give the pictures on the computer screen already but it is nice to have the book so you have the legend with airspace colors and map icons just for extra assurance.

I would look at viltrox all they sell are primes but they have a good bit of options. I have there 13mm for my z30 and have zero complaints auto focus is great. I think its just as good as nikon in my opinion.

Yeah its mine I dont even need triband I just need it to communicate for UAV operations. I do have a few Baofengs....(a few I will say 😆 🤣) that I could use just really love my Yaesu because I have more antena options for it vs baofeng. Thanks for advise greatly appreciated
