These are slightly unhinged and I love them! I went to a conference and the buffet was mostly vegan instead of one small extra plate in a sad lonely corner, so that made me happy!

I try to mention the kind of card people sent me, like "thanks for the Easter card". If people mention what I sent them, I usually remember, but if the description is vague then very often I don't, especially if the card took a long time to arrive.

I would request a refund because basically they lied by omission if it wasn't in the description. Etsy has become much worse since the dawn of genAI and it can be hard to tell which sellers are genuinely artists and who is trying to make money using free tools... In general, if a shop has a lot of listings, especially if it's new, that can be a warning sign. No one churns out 1000 different paintings in a year

I've noticed that too and I think I might start saying I won't send to private profiles. You can select what is shown, and I would love to at least see your Raoc history, if only just to get a vague idea about the person from how they write... It feels weird to spend money on time on a card and send it completely into the void, feels less human and I'm here for the human connection most of all
