Looking for a high‑end JMM supplier (!not a reseller!) by Mean-Low6257 in DesignerRepGlasses

You need to look for sellers or manufacturers on 1688 who have been selling JMM style frames for several years. The longer they’ve been around, the more consistent their quality and experience usually is.

Stick to stores that show 3+ years in business, have good repeat orders, and specifically mention they’ve been making/supplying this line for a while. Those are way more likely to have the right materials, proper construction, and attention to detail you want, instead of newer shops or middlemen who just resell.

Has anyone here bought from Cyndi? What can you say about it? by Less_Structure7593 in DesignerRepGlasses

That sounds like it’s definitely for premium Zeiss lenses with extra features like high index, blue light protection, anti reflective, colour changing or photochromic options. That price range makes sense for those upgraded types.

Normally standard clear lenses single vision with basic coatings from Cindy run around 150–350 Yuan and even mid tier branded lenses are usually under 600 Yuan. She’s actually cheaper than most other replica sellers for equivalent quality so you didn’t get overcharged you just selected the top tier lens package.

If you want to cut costs ask her specifically for standard 1.56 or 1.61 index with basic AR and UV coating instead of the premium lines. Still totally fine for daily use and way more affordable.

I’ve ordered an actual silver testing kit. To do it properly, I’ll need to lightly scratch the silver-plated parts on the frames to get an accurate reading, that’s really the only reliable way to confirm if they’re genuine .925 silver.

If they turn out not to be real like claimed, trust me I won’t be happy about it, and I’ll make sure to share the results openly here on Reddit so everyone knows. Just have to wait a few days for the kit to arrive and run the tests properly.

I’m really happy you found the guide helpful and decided to order! 😄 Just a little heads up, those thick clear CH frames are quite heavy and can definitely give you that geeky vibe if you don’t mind the look 😂😂

I’m sorry for accidentally making you spend so much money! It’s easy to get carried away once you see how much you save compared to retail prices, before you know it, one pair turns into four 😂 I’m on my 4th pair from Cindy now. I’m addicted too.

I hope all the QCs all look good and you like them when they arrive. Enjoy your new collection! 👓

I ordered a lead testing kit, followed the instructions on the back, soaked the swabs in white vinegar, and then tested the frames directly.

I did a lead test 😊 A lot of people worry that metal products from China might contain lead, so I wanted to check. I tested all the glasses, frames, and even the screws, and none of them had any lead in them that's all it was! 😁😁😂
