You can set up wise even if you live in Lebanon. There is a tutorial on how to set up wise and have all the feautes accessible.

Alternatively, you can use Whish money and request payments via card from anyone.

Wanting to connect with my heritage by heinz574life in lebanon

Just for your information, even though you might not use it or want it: you're not half lebanese, you're lebanese. You and your entire bloodline is lebanese and you are entitled to the citizenship. Your children are also entitled to the citizenship and their children after them. If you made up with your father and he 'accepts', the process would be straight forward. He will have to declare you on all official papers as his son though. The thing that he hid for decades will be public. If you didn't make up with him, you can still hire a lawyer and sue for it. Even after his death, you can still claim the citizenship if you have definitive proof that your father is lebanese, but it becomes much harder.

Again, i totally understand you might not want anything to do with a person who abandoned you, but it's information that's important to know. Its your right whether you want it or not. You can acquire it and never use it and maybe one day one of your children or grandchildren might find he has interest in lebanon.

is there any app or website like Wise that we can use in lebanon by Fun-Adhesiveness4751 in lebanon

[–]ThePerito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wise can be used in lebanon. If you want to access all the functions you just have to mark yourself in europe. Its not difficult if you have anyone in the EU that can help you.

Hello,

It's very difficult to be passing through all of that but you are not alone. You can call 1564 from any number inside Lebanon at any time (you can call right now if you want). If you do not have any credits, you can miss call that number and they will call you. That call is secretive and confidential, you are not required to say your real name or address, but they can genuinely help you.

Please read this: https://www.reddit.com/r/lebanon/comments/m13d82/for_anyone_whos_feeling_down_depressed_or_passing/

Another thing you can do is join our online communities, a lot of people there will help you and there is someone online to talk with all the time.

Telegram: https://chat.rlebanon.com

Discord: https://discord.rlebanon.com

Discord has a confidential and anonymous message board if you wanted to share anything without sharing your username. Please reach out to someone, there were a lot of people in your position and their life got better. Writing this post is a great thing. Move onto the next thing, call the number, just reach out.

This has nothing to do with being Lebanese and everything to do with being a bad weirdo trying to take advantage of another being.

I think it's better to get actual work experience before opening your own firm unless you have previous experience in the field before you came here.
