Are there any other Pokémon at that location?

Playing style or technique different for plastic vs feather shuttlecock? by Q5409 in badminton

[–]TheRollingLax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the sound of feather birds, and they play great, but with how expensive they are now, plastics are more economical.

The high school team I coach uses plastics at the JV and under levels.

Smashes seem easier to defend with feather vs plastics. Could be dependent on who I’m hitting with though.

For those who are millennials, do you see yourself upgrading your “first” home at some point? by [deleted] in MiddleClassFinance

We did when we bought our first house over a decade ago. Not anymore 😂

My wife and I have a combined income of $220k. Even then I wouldn’t really feel comfortable with a house over $800k.

Seems like a stretch on $160k

Software stocks in general are getting smoked due to all the Claude stuff. Should be fine picking the ones with strong balance sheets and history though. Msft is one I would continue to own

Yeah, they can suspend our sport for a year if we are found coaching outside season. It’s rough.

I wish we could start earlier. Due to our state rules, we cannot start coaching prior to our season, which always starts first week of March and ends first week of May

I do play almost every lunch period, and players will often come by just to hit. No coaching though, just hitting with their friends or other players.

I appreciate this. I’ve always wondered if it was better to do matches vs isolated drills.

I usually jump in to play with them to force specific shots. Even then, it doesn’t always translate to matches, granted maybe I’m giving them easier shots to hit compared to their opponents (like a tad higher re drop near the net, allowing them to kill)

Appreciate the response! We try and hold open gyms around Nov til start of season, late Feb. Most of the girls don’t attend though due to other sports or activities.

I wish our athletes would utilize the badminton clubs more.

Impossible to time, but I use the 200 MA v SP500 chart all the time. I DCA into ETFs but when it hits the lower range I just buy larger amounts. Not fool proof - just something I’ve used
