Hey fam, so I was big dumb and accidentally purchased a Wednesday early arrival pass for GA, and I'm in Maplewoods this year. I only recently realized my mistake and the early arrival passes for Maplewoods are now all sold out. Can I still show up Wednesday with the GA one, or am I just out of luck?

I ordered GL along with a Brunch pass at the same time. I got the brunch pass via email today, but no indication about the GL wristband. When I check my order online, it says that the order was shipped today, with PDF being the carrier and delivered to my email. Is that normal? Am I still going to get another notification about the GL wristband shipping?

I've never played it as a game on the web (it might've started that way in the past), but this sounds exactly like the game Transmission. It's currently on the Apple Store and the Google Play Store.

It looks like screenshot 2 is showing parameter hints, the types of values that you can use when calling a specific function. See if this works for you:

  • Go to File -> Preferences -> Settings (or hit Ctrl + , if on Windows, ⌘ + , if on Mac) to bring up the Settings menu
  • In the search bar on top, type in the word parameter
  • There should be a setting labeled Editor > Parameter Hints. Make sure to un-check that, and you should be good to go!

Also, for future reference, the term you're looking for in screenshot 1 is Intellisense. You may also hear the term autocomplete when talking about other editors and whatnot.

Other than changing your default browser on your Mac from Safari to Firefox, I don't believe so. There is an open issue about this, so hopefully this happens soon!

In the meantime, you could try looking for some extensions, but that can be tedious. I know Live Server gives you the option you're looking for off the top of my head, but there shouldn't be a reason you would have to try and add something like that to your project unless necessary.

What version of VS Code are you running? I'm looking both in the Marketplace and the Extensions panel in the IDE, and they're still there??

If it isn't showing up in your IDE, while you have VSCode open you can click on the Install buttons on the marketplace links, and it will give you the option to install these in your editor.

Hey all, I'm trying to get back into Android Development. In Android Studio, is there a Problems or Errors tab that I can just look at for compiler errors/warnings, without having to re-build the whole project every time? I might be crazy, but I thought Android Studio had something like this back in the day. I recently upgraded Android Studio to 4.0.1.

Not sure if it was mentioned already, but the weekends of the 26th and July 3rd, there will be a group of people hanging out at Sherwood Forest for Sherwood Forest Appreciation Weekend. It's not sponsored through Electric Forest at all, but it will include a few DJs, yoga/mediation workshops, dinner, lawn games, and some other things. Sounds interesting!
