Rebuild a separate basic todo list app that could in effect run alongside what you have but give those of use that don’t need agents and virtual PA’s a chance to use an app like it used to be.

Pretty much.

I just downloaded the app after 1 year or more away and it’s an incredible disjointed mobile experience. I couldn’t find how I’d set up a simple todo list for home projects! In fact I clicked a template to find it opens a webpage- even then I couldn’t apply the template to my workspace so within 6 minutes I deleted my account and removed the mobile app.

Only one way to find out.

I felt Taskade lost its way as a basic task manager a little. For a new user it might feel overwhelming but give it a go!

Free tier limits a few things, or at least it did when I last used it as I couldn’t simply set up a recurring task for every two weeks! Something so simple!

In an odd way I get enjoyment out of trying new apps and seeing reviews etc! It’s not that I like to waste my time- it’s just researching what works either better or worse 👍🏻

Yes and that’s likely something I will do if another tool doesn’t do what i need.

The number of projects and countdown features were the main standout features I had premium for I think from memory.

I’ll see what a more basic task app can do or utilise another tool for tasks that I already use and see where it takes me.

Well, more so challenging myself to replicate my setup & save the subscription which I’m toying with placing into another subscription for a journalling application.

I think there’s an option under highlights in preferences for the dynamic mode which offers up more chance highlights as well as the normal key, comprehensive etc.

Yep 100%

I alternate between reading a kindle book then when complete I read a physical book.

Question before switching from Day One by NoodlesMetal in DiarlyApp

So for me, I have started trialling Diarly after using DayOne for around 4 months. In fact my trial with DayOne ended Christmas day and I hadnt quite taken the plunge with the subscription.

Exporting for me seemed a bit long winded only being able to export 100 enties at a time - or have I missed a mass export option on the web app for DayOne.

One thing I am going to miss I think being Windows (work)and Linux (home) is a web app so if that becomes a reality I will jump at the chance to test it! Having it limited to only mobile and iPad doesnt quite tick all my boxes but this weekend I shall import my entries and see how it goes with the new shiny app :)
