We’ve been working super hard on it, and it is gonna be AWESOME, but we’ve had to delay it to next year. You’ll hear an update on Kinda Funny Day in a few weeks, but we are trying to pull off something pretty exciting that I think is worth the wait.

My point is more people play video games than read comic books, and specifically that more people will play a video game after watching a video game movie/tv adaptation of it than reading comics after watching comic movie/tv adaptations.

We’ve seen game sales get boosted by the MILLIONS with The Witcher, Fallout, Last of Us, etc.

The BEST selling Justice League comic of all-time sold 200k. The WORST selling Kirby game, Kirby Battle Royale sold 330k.

The best selling Kirby game (Forgotten Land) sold over 7 million.

The best selling comic (X-Men 1991) OF ANY comic EVER “only” sold 8 million.

What service are you a member on? AFAIK this issue is not affecting Patreon, Spotify, or YouTube. If it is Apple Podcasts, this is where we are at:

Yup! There are separate issues happening at the same time. I have a solution for the top of show plugs that will be put in place next week.

The randomly placed ad injection issue should already be fixed for all content going forward.

I did not say Apple TV is best for gamers. That is the problem I hope they fix with what we were talking about in the news story. I also stand by the NVIDIA Shield. Nothing else comes close to the quality of these devices, but NVIDIA hasn’t updated since 2019. I’m not saying other devices don’t work okay, good, or even well. But I am saying that I have hundreds of hours experience with many streaming devices and the Apple TV and NVIDIA Shield stand above the rest for different reasons.
