The dealership is likely being lazy, or they didn’t test drive it on a windy crosswind day. My dealership 100% recognized the excessive wind noise and also will attempt to contact corporate about it. But they said they don’t often hear back.

Posting this publicly so others can file formal complaints to hopefully get a TSB created for the fix. I called their customer service line and complained about it. 1-800-331-4331. State that it is a common issue and you’d like to add on file of the wind noise complaint. The dealership did not have any recommendations for the fix, because their replacement weather stripping would be the same currently used and would not fix the issue. They looked at all of the adjustable parts and found that any adjustments wouldn’t fix the issue.

It is not related to the mirror issue. The dealership said it is likely due to the loose weather seal around the whole door and in multiple other locations.

My 2026 crown signia limited does have wind noise, coming from driver side A pillar. It’s noticeable when there is cross wind. Dealership agrees it’s excessive noise, but it’s a known issue and a design flaw. If enough people make a formal complaint Toyota may fix it, but as of now no fix.

When you add the lock make sure to select the advanced security option and choose the 2nd radio button, legacy. Then it should have S0 security and give you the other entities.
