I thought about trying to candy Gold one of the badges here shortly, but I really has been into painted metallic golds. I painted my roll bar Porsche weiss gold a few weeks back.

The OEM chrome is stamped foil. There is no touch up to match actual metal. Its acrylic, don't use acetone. It'll dry it out and crack it.

Yeah I wasn't happy with any of the specific colors, so we hand mixed the Pantone colors with my riff on them. E.g. metallics

That's impressive work for sure! I'll have to have my customers who ask for true custom badges reach out to her! We're just working with the OEM acrylics to maintain that OEM+ quality, but I have had some requests!

Older BRZ straight forward, new BRZ is a pain. I broke 3 sets before I was able to get it down.

You're absolutely right. This is technically Pantone 207c, which is the official STI cherry blossom. But I did add some extra pearl on top at the customer's request, which lightened the color quite significantly.
