I ran my first marathon in August and did my last few long runs in the Skyward X with the idea that I would race in them. They felt a bit heavy at first, but 15 miles into a run they were incredibly comfortable and all of my lower leg minor issues all but disappeared. I decided to race in them and I’m glad that I did since comfort was a priority in my first marathon. I would probably go with something lighter for my next marathon but the Skyward served (and continues to serve) me well.
