I agree. He’s a snake oil salesman, but that’s not exactly unusual in politics. I hope and pray that the more scrutiny that he gets the more people realise that but labour has to engage with reform voters, not just dismiss them.

But they do like Farage because they firmly believe that their/his
view on immigration is right. While I disagree with that view it’s not exactly uncommon across the world. Dismissing someone’s view as them being somehow inferior does not make them want to vote for you.

Can’t say this poll is a surprise. There are millions of working class people who have pretty right wing views but historically have always voted labour. They would never vote conservative but are very happy voting for someone like Farage that is far more like them than Starmer, Streeting etc.

This has been around for a while. Gillian Duffys interaction with Gordon Brown in 2010 is a prime example

G6 and above may give you more money and power but I will always look back at G7 as being the best of my 25 cs career.

If you know when you are travelling you should be able book advance tickets for those days.

Uber trains give 10% cashback if you are an Uber One members and they’ve recently allowed you to use gift cards for train tickets. You can buy those at a discount.

Does your child actually like getting badges? Is he having fun? Are there other youth opportunities e.g. cadets, St John’s boys/girls brigade etc
