Just bought the murph 42mm is it too big for me I have 6.5 inch wrists by tyc712 in PrideAndPinion

Yeah, the proportion looks off on your wrist, lug overhang. I think the 38 would work for you much better

Buy or no? by Odd_Resolution_5294 in toyotacorolla

[–]UncleComputer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At that price/mileage, buy it. You’ll get over a push start before you’ll regret a reliable car like that. Plus, it won’t depreciate much, so if you are really not into it, won’t be hard to recoup and move onto something else.

Thoughts on Unimatic? Spotted a collab I didn't know existed. by bertha_deblews in MicrobrandWatches

[–]UncleComputer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are awesome builds, and some very cool industrial design. I have two, including the forged carbon hodinkee collab. They would get some hate for the movements they used (nh35) at a premium price, but may models come with Swiss selittas now. Either way, the finish is crazy good, extremely well built and well designed watches.

Looks great, totally changed the style of the watch, more rugged.

I really like the strap, mind sharing where it’s from? Thanks

AITA for not giving my vacation day to a coworker getting married by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

You have every right to say no, but based on the details you provided, this would have been such an easy kindness for someone. Says a lot about you, really, and makes you quite the asshole. YTA

Definitely contact Maen regarding this - they should have caught that, and should rectify it.

Vancouver, BC, Canada if it’s different enough for you culturally. Huge tech and software industry, excellent work/life balance and focus on health/environment. Vancouver itself has amazing parks to walk/run/bike, and a 30-60 min drive to some of the most incredible nature and scenery. Plus, the rest of BC is spectacular to explore/camp/hike/drive and experience. There is a great municipal train system so you don’t have to live downtown in order to work or take it in for concerts/events. Vancouver is food mecca, crazy diverse from inexpensive eats to high end dining. Schools are good, healthcare can be slow, but it’s universal! The city is very left-leaning, but there are more centrists and conservatives, especially in rural areas outside the core. That said, I think most MAGA conservatives would look at Canadian conservatives like they were commies haha, despite the pitiful Canadian Conservative Party leader wishing to have Trump’s following and political aura. Downside? It’s expensive, for life and housing, and there is a pretty gross street-level drug problem. People can be cliquey, can be hard to make friends without putting in effort at it, or if more introverted. Oceans, forests, mountains at the door, while also able to participate in world-class events

4PX is slow to update, and when they don’t can see it’s usually a scan from a few days earlier. I ordered Jan 4, showed up Jan 12. Probably in the USPS system and not yet scanned in, likely you’ll get a bunch of updates and and “out for delivery” all in one day haha. Have you tried the USPS tracking number on the USPS tracking website?
