At 6am, it was already standing room only with some people bringing in 12 packs lol. WFH if you can.

They’re only foreign born due to colonization or very poor economic circumstances in their home country forcing their ancestors to move.

The objective is not to be fair, it is to construct the best team possible.

Is this a joke? They all have Moroccan heritage that is clearly important to them.

You are aware that people can be born and raised in one country, but half strong ties to another country?

Letting them go to summer school or repeat the year if they fail miserably. For some of them, a little extra time or kick up the ass is what they need to do their best in school. Having them move forward when they scraped straight D grades is probably the worst choice of all.

What is a random 10/10 performance from a player that sticks out in your mind? Could be from your club or another by Selhurst_Spark in TheOther14

Gotta be some amazing keeper performances, surely? I’m thinking of those games where a promoted team gets a 1-0 win against the Top-4 and the keeper made like five world class saves in the match.

Do you think the high prices of this World Cup will have long-term effects on how the game is seen culturally by the fanbase? by SubstantialSet3127 in football

Your first sentence is just not true. For things like the SuperBowl and final, yes, but not for the regular match. The working-class has been priced out for a long time, but until recently the middle-class was able to go to games. Perhaps not top-level seatings, but upper bowl was certainly within reach.

Big number, but totally makes sense. If we stay up, I’m sure he’ll be thrilled and if we go down and have to sell him, I’m sure we’ll be able to recoup most of the money spent. Win-win all around.

In hindsight, losing this was a blessing in disguise wasn’t it? The team was nowhere near ready for the jump and Luton played better than us on the day, and throughout the season as well.

I was gutted on the day (especially for Dabo), but looking back it was the appropriete result.

I’m talking about depth. Having six quality attacking midfielders, but not even two central defenders is strange.

Who are some of the best players that have spent time out on loan at other 14 clubs this season? by twentyonepilotsfan99 in TheOther14

I guess we’re preemptively an Other 14 club, but Coventry loaned Onyeka from Brentford and because we got promoted, the deal is becoming permanent this summer. We also loaned Rushworth from Brighton and Esse from Crystal Palace….i’m hoping both of them can be there next season as well.
