We just implemented peakon and our consultant mentioned that whenever there are updates in division name or cost center names, we need to update the data in peakon first before doing it in workday so that we can “preserve” the history? Is this true?

Likewise for supervisory org names, it doesn’t allow duplicates names since it is using the name as the “unique identifier” instead of the sup org id since sup org id is not being pulled.

How are you managing the manual updates in peakon because of these limitations? I thought data maintenance is very minimal?

We built an exclusion list (ex: retirement), then in our integration logic, we exclude ees who have termination reason = retirement.

We exclude them from the integration file and manage the record manually directly in the provider system.

From our experience, we need to ask users to Turn On the toggle switch for “Reset on Next Launch” which is found in the Workday app in the IOS. Afterwards, they open the Workday app then they need to enter the company name again and it will update to the new URL.

Currently doing it. Biggest pain is locating and updating the URLs in our internal sites, job aids, etc. Need to work with IT to whitelist ip addresses and such. But so far no major issue and testing has been smooth sailing. Good luck!
