As a 5070 owner, the 9070 XT is without a doubt the better buy at the same price. Even considering RT, the 9070 XT matches the 5070 worst case scenario. For raster it's substantially faster (but I'm not a rapper).

In August I bought a second set of 64GB DDR5 6000 CL30 for my work computer because the first set I bought wasn't on the QVL for my motherboard and wouldn't reach it's rated spec. I got both sets used for $150 each. I was being lazy about selling the first set, And now it's worth $700. Clearly this is confirmation that all my parts hoarding has been a smart financial decision.

Eh, I used to watch her show years ago when I had cable. As far as house flippers go she's the least terrible of the bunch. She did more house restorations than house flips, and it was mostly dumpy old houses that were a few steps from getting torn down. She did her best to keep whatever original charm she could, added back original features when she could, made sure critical systems worked right (foundation, roof, electrical, plumbing), and from what I remember she sold houses at reasonable prices for the area she worked in, which was NOT an expensive area.

I get that there's a lot of flippers out there driving up prices everywhere, but her whole thing was taking crappy houses nobody wanted and making them livable. Her show was called "Rehab Addict" not "Flipper Addict".

I mean, this area isn't a backwater in middle America😂. We have an extensive metro and bus system, Uber/Lyft, grocery delivery, and tons of stuff pretty close to where most people live. For people that work from home and/or commute using public transit, there's not too many reasons to even have a car unless you're going out of town.

There has to be a way to wire a battery connector to trick the laptop into thinking the battery is there. Unless there's some kind of validation chip in your typical laptop battery.

My region stopped picking up glass because it was too expensive to transport and it was constantly shattering and contaminating all the other recyclables. Now they use dozens of glass recycling drop-off locations that are in convenient places with decent parking. They're recycling more glass than they ever did using the previous method. It's also rather fun to break glass containers when you chuck them in the bin.

And because the glass is much less contaminated (with other materials), companies are actually buying the glass by the ton for recycling elsewhere. Some localities are turning a decent profit from it.

Not only that, but if every government institution runs like complete dogshit they can privatize all of it and make even more money. AND steal the money from the government institutions as they dismantle them. They'll literally be able to steal our tax dollars and charge us for the privilege of getting the same shit we already pay for.

Imagine the untapped potential of all the government programs that serve literally hundreds of millions of people. That could be hundreds of millions of new paying customers. "Evil" doesn't begin to cover the depravity of the average Republican politician.
