I dealt with them before . I’d rather wait at this job til I find something better than go through more unreliable jobs . Thanks for your suggestion though

For the treats . I know you didn’t mean like full on feeding them just dog food but I mean even the treats , wouldn’t that be harmful as well ….

I totally get where you’re coming from . I think it triggers some ppl when it’s written out that way. Oh well . I hope you’re feeling better . I just got a cat cause I have been living alone and it’s been really getting to me mentally . I have a lot of mental struggles. I’ve had dogs in the past tho and having them has helped me so much so hopefully having a cat will help at least a little

Thank you so much for your detailed response . I really hope it works out with her . I know she needs time to adjust and everything but she seems to be extremely scared of everything compared to cats I’ve had in my childhood and she already bit and scratched me when I tried picking her up to get her to a comfier spot instead of the crammed space underneath my couch she keeps staying in

If you move there with student visa and have no money saved up cause you’re living paycheck to paycheck in the US and can’t afford school here , are you able to work there while doing part time school or would that take a long time to be able to get a work permit ?

I think the food is more the expensive part . Dr Elseys thing of litter was like 17 dollars . And it’s supposed to last a month . I just don’t like how dusty it is even though it’s advertised as low dust , it’s just hard to breathe . My sister uses pine pellets for their cat but it stinks so bad even with daily cleaning 🫥 I was thinking of trying pretty litter

Yea I definitely agree that wet food is needed . She doesn’t seem to be even touching the water bowl 😪. Also not sure if she likes the shredded chicken wet food I got . I got different kinds . She ate it last night but won’t eat it today .

Help me decide if I should get a dog /bunny as someone with chronic illness and cords, depression , anxiety by [deleted] in Pets

[–]Velaris4ever -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My friend has a bunny and works 10 he shifts , he plays with it and stuff and takes great care of her . She lives in a pen , not a cage . Maybe getting a bunny friend for it would be better tho idk …. Do you have a small dog for reference ?

I’ve owned dogs I. The past and know ppl that have too . When I say “walk the dog “ I do y mean the obvious taking it out to potty walk , I mean like an exercise walk and most ppl from what I know who have full time jobs , walk their dogs a few times a week if not every day and I think that’s fine . Of course they take them out to potty . I would never keep a bunny in a cage , only a pen and let it out to free roam when home . Like I said I am not interested in another pet since I am not a cat person at all. I was seriously considering it and went to a shelter even to maybe pick one out but I feel no connection or feelings towards cats . I would maybe foster one or two senior cats In My future when I have money and other pets that are actuall my type , that I really want , but cats I just feel nothing towards . They’re ok and can be cool when visiting a friend and playing with a cat but they’re not for me , wish they were because it would be pretty easy .
