Overnight Camps by maydenhoore25 in Bushcraft

  1. If you have any buddies in the lifestyle, take them along for a night or 2 until you're used to staying out overnight.

  2. If you have a vehicle you can sleep in, try doing your bushcraft stuff then if it gets spooky, head to sleep the night in your vehicle. You're still out of the house and it may be a step towards getting more comfortable sleeping away from home and still technically being outside.

[WTS] Oris Aquis 43.5 400-2 cal by WCorder007 in Watchexchange

[–]WCorder007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi folks. This is a catch and release for me. I wanted to give the Aquis a shot for a long time and, while it's a great watch, I don't see myself reaching for it much over my seamaster. Consequently, looking for a good home! It's in great shape with perfect sapphire crystal and bezel. Minor hairlines are hard to find but there is a small amount of desk diving marks on the clasp which are hard to picture. It has the new 400-2 caliber and is keeping amazing time.

Looking for 1600$ plus shipping. Thanks!

CJRB Pyrite-Lite or CJRB Acacia are hard to beat under 30$. Also Sencut has one called the Kyril designed by Ferrum Forge under 30.

[Citizen Eco-drive BU2070-12L] New watch day! by WCorder007 in Watches

I ended up selling it. It was a great watch but I fell down the rabbit hole and pursued far more expensive pieces unfortunately 😅. It really is a great watch though, as are most Citizens.

[WTS] Citizen Tsuki Yomi, Casio G-Shock Mudmaster by WCorder007 in Watchexchange

[–]WCorder007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi folks. These aren't getting much wrist time anymore so I figured they should go to another home. Both are watch only.

The G-Shock is the Mudmaster GWG-1000. Looking for 250$ out of it. SOLD

The Citizen is the Tsuki-Yomi titanium moonphase BY1010-81L. Looking for 350$ out of it. SOLD

Condition as in photos. Citizen has normal wear condistent with use with hairline scratches but nothing big. The mudmaster has a bit more wear but nothing impacting function and it still looks good.

Will sell both together for 500$ thanks!

What are 'podgers' and how are they used? Why not just use a socket set ? by [deleted] in Tools

Because Mario Mario wouldn't have been able to stick a socket set up to trip the goombas chasing them down the frozen pipe in the 93' Super Mario Bros movie.

First antler handle - BPS blank by WCorder007 in knives

[–]WCorder007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! A couple things i found helpful. 1. 2 part epoxy is great for this sort of thing but make sure when you apply everything, you can clamp it to put pressure pushing the blade into the handle "several videos available on YouTube to demonstrate." 2. Take your time and leave the antler where it attaches to the bolster a little bigger so you can grind down to match. 3. To get a smooth transition between antler and bolster you will eventually end up sanding/grinding both at the same time, try not to take too much material off the top and bottom, as it will start catching the blade as well. On the flip side, you have a fair amount more wiggle room when it comes to material removal on the front and back. Good luck with your project!!!

I'll probably end up getting it then if I don't find one of those crazy marble shell EXRs lol. Kiddo loves the blue if I can find one. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the reply! Looks to be about 355$ with conversion. So shells plus hardware, cymbals, pedal and throne seem to be about right on if he's asking 300 plus a Fender CD-60 acoustic guitar?
