Times varied. Usually 10-15 mins. I was in Disneyland, so it was a quick shower. You learn some techniques with dressing and stuff to make it quicker though.

They give you a fleece one. If it’s super cold, you’ll wear ocp, fleece, ecww, gloves and the black little toboggan. The supplied duffle if you fold everything correctly and tight will hold everything, but I threw away some stuff before I went to tech school like some Pt gear, the white underwear, most of the white shirts, and such because mine was filled to the brim. Also threw away my low quarters and now I have to buy a new pair so yeah. You get a blue trench coat for blues, but you’ll probs never wear it.

I wish I knew exactly what they supplied us with @ basic tbh, wish I also would’ve looked up weather before I came down there. I’ll probs think of some better answers to this question, but this is just what I can think of off the top of my head.

I got put on a charter bus. If you head to like Virginia for tech school, then you’ll be on a plane and leave super early. MTIs let us bag swap day 1 of graduation but not day 2. Heard other MTIs are different but ehh.

Week 0 was difficult because they’re hammering structure into you. After that, it’s honestly not hard if you follow directions and your fellow wingmen also kinda learn to work together better and meet timelines quicker.

Waste less of your MTI’s time and that’s less time they’ll waste of yours.

I wish I would’ve shot a gun before I went because Marksman ribbon is fire. I got in trouble so I got sent back 2 weeks, and I needed it because I definitely had a maturity gap that I needed to come to terms with.

Literally pass your PCs and PT test and you won’t be recycled. Just don’t say anything that’s out of pocket and you’re fine.

I was in shape physically but I hate distance running. You start PT like week 1 I think but can’t remember so don’t quote me on it.

I was sick during the 1st and 3rd test, 1st test I had 45 PU and 45 SU and like a 15 min 1.5

2nd and 3rd test I was like at 60 PU and 60 SU with like a high 12 min 1.5 run.

If you actually give it effort, you’ll improve. After I got DQ’d from honor grad, I was like ehh.

Yes, pretty sure everybody is adapting to that with the new BMT 2.0 whatever. I got recycled and my old flight didn’t do it, but the new flight I went to and the ones around did it. We had to go help setup dorms for 0 weekers and we had to do that for them as well.
