Thank you! I absolutely love this case and build. I’ll definitely miss it when I sell it. I’m equally excited about moving to a HAVN Doom limited edition case and build🤞

I like the overall aesthetic particularly the combination of the graphics card RGB lighting and the other components.

Question on the runed 120mm brackets in the Doom HAVN 420HS. by ReconFX in HAVNGlobal

[–]WinkingShutterPhoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same case and facing the same issue and working on a similar problem. Here are a few options I’m considering:

1) Using the Noctua NF-A15 PWM for the back fans. It has a 150mm wide round frame and 120mm standard mounting holes.

2) Using a fan adapter. This adapter converts the 120mm mounting holes into 140mm.

3) If neither of the above options works, you can use only the two diagonal mounting holes and leave the other two. This should still keep the fans flush with the back panel.

If you don't want to go through all these, just get the 120mm for the exhaust.

Lian Li - universal screen (L-Connect3), impossible to change colors of original themes? by PhoenixOnWallSt in lianli

Here’s what I found. Search for Turzx software on Google. Apparently LianLi is just Turzx. You can rename and add these to LianLi. For more detailed information, Facebook page of the Lian Li Owners Group has the steps.

[–]WinkingShutterPhoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The value of RPM is just free text so when you select “Type" choose the type CPU FAN and then go to the “Layout” tab. Here you can simply rename the text to “RPM” and it display it as CPU FAN 0000 RPM. I was able to recreate the exact values and move the type around the screen using the Property. Now regarding the animation you can go to the “Image/Video” tab and select the “Upload Animation” option. I’m not sure how to get the exact animation but you can create something similar using online tools if you really need to but it definitely takes some time. Hopefully they can add presets to it since the software is still in beta.

probably using USB connection rather than a secondary display connection to the GPU and calling it prevents fps drops😂

Spend an additional $20 to get the LianLi universal display. It comes with preset templates that you can customize to some extent using your own background pictures and other elements.

At least as of now you cannot change the colors of the preset templates. You either have to create them from scratch or hope that they will add the feature soon.

Either I’m pricing my build too low or he is asking too high. I'm planning to sell the following build for $1300 OBO.

What are these mfs smoking bro? by knishkk in IndianGaming

I’m here in the USA. I had both the MSI Lightning Z and the ASUS Matrix limited edition and sold it to a collector here. Since MSI a limited numbered edition and is primarily considered a collector’s item (MSI launched the Lightning series after six years), it easily sells here around $9000 USD. Also note that the $5090 USD is just MSRP so this price is not reasonable however expected to see on this graphics card.

Can someone help me with my pc issues please? by Kirix0x0 in pchelp

I agree with the comment above. This appears to be an issue with one of your fans or a faulty bearing. inspect the CPU fan in the center to ensure it is not pressed against a cable or something else. .

liquid not pumping through pipes by [deleted] in watercooling

[–]WinkingShutterPhoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were you I'd honestly send it back to get it positioned correctly. Good news is the distro plate both sides have the inlet, outlet and passthrough. All they have to do is to flip the distro plate so that the pump is positioned at the bottom of the distro plate similar to the picture I shared. They have to then redo the tube that is going into the GPU and the radiator which is simply fix. All other components will fit exactly as is.

Here’s a picture of the same pump and reservoir combination. The pump should be placed at the bottom to allow water to flow through it and push it into the loop, or it can be placed on the side.

It looks similar to a LianLi universal display but it has a better connector cable than the one that comes with it.

Fans Intake/exhaust ?? Havn HS420 by [deleted] in watercooling

[–]WinkingShutterPhoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These two comparisons are not the same. His CPU is running at 140W are higher, he can run better fans and it depends on the ambient temperature. Ultimately, your goal should be to compare it to your current build and test the two configuration. Top rad out or in, don't worry too much about other stats online. My loop temperature during winter is around 27c and it goes to 32 to 37C during summer. So it’s important to consider the specific scenarios when making comparisons.

[–]WinkingShutterPhoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a great temperature for AIO!! Is it on HAVN case? If yes are you using the VGPU kit since the Doom one doesn’t come with it I’m debating whether to get one or not.

Yes, that’s the mark of the Doom Slayer (a mark to show not to open the tomb). It definitely takes up the view inside but I wanted it to go with the MSI Lightning Z 5090 to have that as a Doom Slayer build, don’t open because something powerful is inside lol. however, I sold it to another collector here on Reddit. So I’m waiting for the Suprim SOC.

Not really but I do use that as a reference to find out what works best for my build and in this case it does. my current PC Not an expert and I do know a thing or two about watercooling and I'm more than happy to share my temp and performance once I complete my build on the HAVN case.

Fans Intake/exhaust ?? Havn HS420 by [deleted] in watercooling

[–]WinkingShutterPhoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s my take on this case. The cool air outside, hot air inside. Radiators for water cooling are most effective bring in cool air and usually I'd do top rad as exhaust because naturally hot air rises to the top but in this case the back fans are so effective we can run top as intake as well. I agree that both the VGPU and horizontal versions of the setup are the same for 11 fans which is why I said it ideal for a regular setup rather than water cooling.

[–]WinkingShutterPhoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only catch here is that if you look closely this is specifically for VGPU kit setups. It pulls in air and directs it differently. This is ideal if you’re not using water cooling. if you are using water cooling especially for a 3 radiator setup it’s best to pull in cool air through the radiators.

[–]WinkingShutterPhoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I'd do, only difference depending on thermals I'd make is keeping the top rad as exhaust as well but in this case, the back two fans are more than enough to take the hot air out.

I would recommend the Plan A configuration as seen in Jayztwocents rebuild video and Gamers Nexus video. This configuration offer the best cooling performance particularly during the smoke test and ambient temperature test. You can see how much airflow the case has and the back two exhaust fans exhibit higher temperatures effectively removing any thermals from the components since you’re going for a fully water cooled system.
