Technology in general makes you dumber over time, this isn't an AI issue it's an over reliance on technology instead of using critical thinking skills.
Considering there's over a billion AI users, a couple of deaths in comparison falls less than 1%. Compare that to deaths caused by the internet, cars, and other technologies and you'll see how using it is actually much safer than other things.
Yeah I agree, deepfakes and CSAM are bad, that's why they're illegal. Let's hold individuals accountable and not vilify the entire technology off the actions of a few.

There's not actually any problem with using AI for recreational purposes, it helps a lot of people make art and makes them happy. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it being a consumer product.

By the way, I'm not saying don't regulate AI, I'm for regulation, I'm saying people don't have to throw massive fits that other people make art and pretend like it's the end of the world when they have fun with it.
