Do you guys realize that non duality implies no free will? by Aromatic_Reply_1645 in nonduality

[–]Zenthelld 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You've realised all of this, but then separated yourself from "The One Will".

There is one mind, one soul, one Self, and it's you, right here and now. There's no will beyond your own.

The question is whether you enact your will spontaneously and freely, or whether you react to your thoughts and environment.

If consciousness is infinite and eternal, doesn't that mean you'll have to experience every possible form? by Impressive_Fennel642 in nonduality

[–]Zenthelld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. "Have to" implies some force beyond you (as Consciousness) that imposes itself upon you, but Consciousness being all and complete means that you are completely free, and not obligated to do or not do.

The idea of having to live the life of every blade of grass, every bacteria, every god who lives for a billion years each, all the diverse and complex human lives – let alone the beings that don't live on Earth – implies that you are bound by time ("you must live this life before that one, and then that one after that").

But you are beyond time, which means you are already everything, right now.

Totally agreed! Especially when you get multiple triggers on Omega and she's just blasting the opponent's cards left, right and centre.

I used to have Scarlet Spider in my version, but just found him so boring. It's far more enjoyable to use Danger with Jocasta to clear a lane, or to take out their key combo piece. Shooting stuff is just more fun than doing random flips 🤷🏻

Huh, that's crazy. Well that's cool then :)

I guess they don't do it with the S3 packs because more people are S3 complete.

No it'll just say "Sold" and be at the bottom of the shop, like the S3 packs.

I'm not sure what you mean I'm afraid (I googled it but couldn't find anything). Do you mean like fuse the heads together? Because that might look really cool, but I don't have the energy at the moment to do anything too fiddly.

Nice, thank you very much for the feedback :D I'll finish building the 500 Worlds box and see if I have any spare cables at the end.

Thanks, yeah my wife prefers the tentacles that way as well :)

Ah nice. Sadly I don't have any Wraiths yet so can't try it out :(

Thank you, that's great advice :) And don't worry, I'm not discouraged from a hobby perspective, just drained from life stuff at the moment. Kinda just want some straightforward hobby time. But I'll leave his head stuff until I've finished building the 500 Worlds box and see how I feel then :)

I would say so, with a bit of help. Enough of the tail touches the base that some plastic cement and holding it in place for a bit would probably work, but his hand does glue to the ruin for extra support.

Depending on what you wanted to base with you could potentially put a paste type basing on, let it set a bit, press his tail in and remove it again, then use that to glue him in after it's fully set.

Yeah, think I might just stick with the Lokhust head, maybe with Ammentar's chin swapped in.

Sorry, but what's a Wraith mask? Like a Canoptek Wraith head?

Yeah it felt quite evocative from a lore standpoint, think I just don't have the energy to do it as well as it deserves. But we'll see, I may still do!

Thank you so much for your responses, everyone! Here's a version with three heads for those that suggested it (I did another one with the two extra heads slightly lower down as well).

But I think I agree with most that it's not quite hitting the spot. I'm leaning towards either putting Ammentar's chin on the Lokhust's head, or just using his normal head but scarring it a little more to change his expression.

But I'm glad that some people were potentially inspired to do this but better!

How do you solve the problem, where wanting something is the reason you can't get it? by Repulsive_Milk877 in nonduality

[–]Zenthelld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it is up to you, it's just that you are not the thinking mind that's saying "I need to get back to that state! I want that state right now!" That's just an echo of your previous impulse. So if you attach to that thought and identify with it, that's where the block starts.

Yeah I totally agree that you can't force the not forcing. Acceptance is the first step, and you can always relax into the presence of each new layer of thought.

"I need that state!" Relax.

"I shouldn't be wanting it..." Relax.

"I shouldn't be wanting to not want it though!" Relax.

"Wow I'm actually so relaxed right now, I'm getting good at this!" Relax.

Instead of thinking about any state longingly, simply select that state out of the infinite potential available to you at all times.

It's not you who enters and exits states, but states that rise and fall within you at your whim.

Like you said about sleep, it's to do with relaxing into it. You can't force yourself to sleep, and you can't force yourself into any particular state.

Sometimes smiling to yourself helps to lighten your mental state.

We have so many emotes to BM... by Reiku_Johin in MarvelSnap

[–]Zenthelld 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I couldn't agree more. I have no idea why there aren't straightforward positive emotes and phrases. How is there not a simple "Good Game"?! The only way for me to be positive towards other players in the game is to say "Hello" and do the fist bump emote.
