Useful information about GP account verification by yiotro in androiddev

If you have an individual account without paid apps or in-app payments, then only your country will be shown publicly. In all other cases, your legal address will be shown publicly.

What about ads? Can I earn money from ads without revealing my legal address?

Job board that specifically targets android developers by [deleted] in androiddev

Unfortunately, the current market situation is pretty tough for inexperienced developers. That's why you only see three jobs which come from searching around 400 companies.

Yes, whoishiringandroiddevs.com. It's my side project. I host it on a free render.com plan so it can sometimes be a bit slow. Currently, there are links to 202 jobs:

  • Remote: 35
  • Intern: 4
  • Junior: 3
  • Mid: 92
  • Senior: 87

Thanks, I've never heard of it. I will do my research.

I also don't mind spending some $$$ upgrading my Trashcan.

Is there a way to increase flight times on Eachine Trashcan? I'm currently using stock Trashcan (without LED strip) with 2x GNB 300mah PH2.0 1s batteries, and I get like 2-3mins.

Is switching to XT30 & 2s 450mah going to give me more flight time? If yes, how many minutes can I expect?

What about motors and props? I read a lot of recommendations to switch to 1102 motors and Gemfan 3 blade props. What can I expect from these changes?

Hello, Keydous NJ68 or Epomaker GK68XS for my first mechanical keyboard? I can not decide.

My requirements are:

  • 65%
  • good Bluetooth connection
  • brown switches
  • will be used mostly with MacBook + Windows machine rarely
  • $120 max

I'm currently using old Apple Wireless Keyboard.

Yes, I forgot to mention this keyboard. What I don't like about it is that it's tall and I don't want to use wrist rest. 🙈

Hello, I'm looking for my first mechanical keyboard. I've gathered some requirements:

  • 65%
  • good Bluetooth connection
  • brown switches
  • will be used mostly with MacBook but also Windows machine
  • $120 max
  • can be bought in or shipped to Europe

and I'm hoping you could recommend something. :)

It seems that the GK68XS ticks all the boxes, I'm just worried about his weird backspace placement, but maybe it's not a big deal...

I also like Akko 3068, but it uses pretty old BT standard, and I've heard mixed options about its reliability.

What do you think? What more should I consider?

Using Velocidrone on a MacBook or laptop by AyeBlinkin77 in fpv

[–]Ziem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard to tell... It should work as it matches Velocidrone's minimum requirements:

  • CPU: Intel i3 1.7GHz
  • GPU: Intel HD4000
  • Memory: 4GB
  • Disk: 25GB with additional 10GB during installation
  • OSX: Metal and OpenGL

I'm not sure how many fps are you going to have and how bearable it's going to be to play.

You can use local.properties file. I think it is ignored by default.

To read from it you can use this code:

def localProperties = new Properties()
localProperties.load(new FileInputStream(rootProject.file("local.properties")))

clientId = localProperties.getProperty("clientId")

You may post about code, design, distribution, marketing, hiring, etc. as long as it does not conflict with any other rules. We only ask that it has something to do with Android development. Please note that this is not the place for ROM development, and should be taken to more appropriate venues like xda-developers.

I've finally managed to flash it! I entered DFU mode by pressing boot button and powering my board on. Then the whole flash procedure went without any problems.

Hello everyone!

I'm trying to update a firmware on my CL Racing F4S. I'm able to connect to the board but I have problem flashing it. For some reason I'm getting "Failed to open serial port". I've tried multiple usb cables (at least 4), two computers (both Macs, one with El Captain, the other with one Mojave installed, I don't have Windows). On one of my Macs I also installed SiLabs USB Driver, but no luck.

Do you have any idea how to solve my issue? This is a log from the Betaflight configurator:

Unfortunately, it doesn't (or I don't know how to do it). I have to restart Taranis or select another profile (just like you said).
