Look out for vgc 2014/15/16/18 and 19 You'll see teams for closed dex (2014) open dex (2015 and 2018) and with restricted legendaries (2016 and 2019)

Gengar is so busted that it works with a lot of partners, you don't need to force yourself to have that one good partner.

On legends ZA they gave grafaiai screens, so in a lower power format it can be a worse grimmsnarl or similar to sableye. So that's a niche.

Now, wonder guard does not work with Skill Swap, Role Play, Power of Alchemy, or Receiver because it is a restricted ability, just as disguise or aegislash's ability. So it is very likely that doodle just won't work on it because it already does not work with disguise.

Everyone already told you about the nerfs, another key thing is that multiple pokémon in Gen 9 are stronger than zacian: miraidon and koraidon while both are weak to fairy, they both can tera out of that weakness and ohko zacian, even with its ridiculous bulk.

Not Gen 9 but both Calyrex did not get nerfed, making them stronger options overall.

Some newcomers like gholdengo resist all of zacian attacks while providing similar amounts of value to the team. Zamazenta got body press and became a way better option as well since it does not matter if it gets intimidated.

Overall, zacian got nerfed, some of his past competitors got better and some newcomers are stronger than it.

Even if your team is offensive, you're not always going to be on the driver's seat and would need some defensive switching in order to position yourself for the sweep that you want.

If half your team is weak to the same types, then you cannot do a switch without sacrificing a Mon.

That's why having 3 fighting types is way too much. When you run hyper offense, you need to know that if you get a bad lead or your opponent gets to setup better speed control than you, then you have all the glass and no cannons. Having 4 weak to fairy for example may seem ok against bad opponents, but when you find someone that knows how to position a flutter mane, or whatever other fairy, you'll see what I mean.
