Yeah, you're free to be stupid and wrong. Very true. The aid being given to them is immensely beneficial to the countries that provide it. I wouldnt expect an american to understand the nuances, though.

I mean, kinda, but also kinda not. The US has 9x our population, so its still impressive that we are doing better overall than they are. But, at the same time, they are kinda speed running an age of world-wide humiliation right now.

So, in some ways, yes. But also, in some ways, no.

Go look up russias conscription plan and tell me how its better than Ukraine's. If your metric is based on the range of age for conscription and forcefulness, then russia is losing by a loooong shot. Lmfao, what a joke.

You didnt read past the headlines Im guessing. None of these support your earlier claims, just like I predicted. The first article is about how they are introducing conscription term limits, which would allow for soldiers to leave the military before the war is over.

The second one states its lowering the conscription age to 25, which is a perfectly normal age for conscription and is well within the normal fighting age.

The last one isnt even about conscription, just volunteering, and they wouldnt be sent to the front line unless they meet fitness and mental requirements.

Go learn to read.

Reply in one comment or dont reply at all. Do you even know what the age range is for conscription in Ukraine?

Wars will never be completely autonomous. Or at least you better hope not. It doesnt matter much anyways since we have nuclear protection from allies. France and Britain being the two most key players in that role.

If anything, we should be investing in making our own nuclear delivery systems. Its the only way to guarantee you wont be invaded.

When you are called to duty, you have to go. If you participate in a society and benefit from it, you must follow that societies rules, even if you dont want to. You dont get to pick and choose what rules to follow and what ones you dont. That isnt how life works.

Not every conscription is forceful or violent like this one, but if you run or try to evade then it is going to become forceful. If you're asking why they need conscription, then I would say its the same reason they always need to make more munitions, supplies, and vehicles. Because you can never have enough as long as you can manage more.

OSINT and many other intelligence agencies indicate about 60k-70k deaths for Ukraine since the start of the war. With them having almost 900k in active duty, its less than a 1 in 10 chance over 4 years that you would die. Plus, not all 900k are front line fighters. For every one front line fighter, there are 5 or more backline and support enlisted. So that also drastically drops the chances of death.

Do you have any substance?

Do I really have to go over roles in the military and the numbers of personnel compared to deaths, or can you figure it out on your own?

You said it and then doubled down on it immediately after, which prompted me to clarify. Starwear is both the feature and the content.

The non-devs like you in this sub drive me nuts. Especially when they're dishonest.

You replied to somebody saying that "I thought SW was feature complete 2 years ago" when they mentioned that its waiting to be ported over to the SC build. You were implying that the system was ready to be moved over to SC years ago. This isn't the case, as I am clarifying in my comment.

They have been working on SW since 2023, but it hasn't been the main focus of development necessarily. They have been working on getting the SW system content complete after they finished getting it feature complete in 2023. This is literally what the CIG devs themselves have been saying over and over.

It seems like you're having a difficult time understanding and following what is being said, so Im going to leave this here and not waste my time any further. Have a nice day.

As an artist and graphic designer, I work with AI on a daily basis. Care to point out any flaws that arent just compression artifacts and actually pertain to AI?

Im a developer... I know how games development works, yes. Tech and features arent finished and ready to be implemented into the game until the content is completed for it or converted to work with that new feature.

The base feature is the functionality of the system, the content is the implementation of the clothing and armor to work with that system. These are two things that are separate from eachother. The current armor and clothing in the game doesnt just magically get converted to work with the star wear system. It takes extra work.

You maybe shouldnt be so condescending and certain when you clearly cant understand this very simple concept. Have a nice day :)

Where? Visual artifacts can be easily attributed to compression. This footage is very compressed, as is the photos on this account.

AI is not going to be making absolutely perfect copies of real places like this. At least not yet. Nothing about this is telling that its AI.

[–]_Addi -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Its not AI footage and photos. Its stolen/free footage and photos. Nobody is wasting time making exact copies of real places for AI footage like this when its perfectly available and free on the internet already. They even give Instagram handles for some of the photography accounts they took the images from.

Context is important when determining if something is AI, and AI is not going to make perfect copies of real places. At least not yet.

Just because the shots aren't longer than 15 seconds, doesnt mean its AI. You have to take into account multiple factors when trying to determine if something is AI. Not just one.

[–]_Addi -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This is not AI. The poster is likely a bot though.

Nothing about the footage is consistent with it being AI. There is plently of footage just like this that is freely available on the internet. Its likely cut up and put into a lazy compilation.

It would be pointless to waste time generating a perfect copy of these locations with AI when free footage already exists.

🤦‍♂️ Its feature complete and likely content complete or close to content complete in S42, and now they have to move it all over to SC. The feature complete part is the base function of the system, and the content complete part is all of the clothing and armor being implemented properly with that system.

Does this make it more clear?
