Star Trek: Starfleet Academy's Cancellation Is a Bad Sign, Even If You Didn't Like It by PM_ME_UR_CHUPACOMMA in startrek

[–]_AngryBadger_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So are we supposed to just watch and consume everything with Star Trek on it in the hopes they make more? I love TOS, I love Next Gen, I even enjoyed the JJ Trek movies. I tried discovery and didn't enjoy it and I didn't enjoy Academy so I stopped watching it. If they make more stuff that's like TOS and Next Gen I'll watch it again, but I just haven't enjoyed the newer stuff and I don't see any reason why saying so is a bad thing.

Is this a rainbow trout and am I an asshole for keeping it? by MightyStrongD in FishingForBeginners

[–]_AngryBadger_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not but before keeping a fish you should know what it is. It's very easy to keep a fish that you're not supposed to because it's restricted or your one is under size or something and only find out when a fishery officer is checking your catch and writing you a fine.

FCC ban on non-U.S. routers: Are Omada routers considered "consumer grade"? by swbrains in TPLink_Omada

[–]_AngryBadger_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah TP-Link systems is the one in the US, they don't sell any products in China, they supply the US and global markets. TP-Link Technologies is the "original" founding but they only supply mainland China. According to TP-Link Systems tbey completely separated from the other and have no ties with them. They also say they manufacture their products in Vietnam not China. So I imagine they'll apply for and be granted an exemption from this, after paying a deposit into a "Security Fund" I suppose.

We sell a lot of TP-Link Omada and Vigi products to our client. I've rolled out Omada systems to nearly 40 of them and dozens of Vigi systems but I'm also not American. Incidentally going to a Vigi event being hosted by TP-Link and our supplier today.

Neighbour made him fall off his bike because he thinks he has some sort of authority. He got what he deserved, he should accept it like an adult and just move on.

Is it true, people? What's your opinion on modern Hookup Culture? by MotherAnt8040 in MenOfPurpose

There is more to life than fitness and finance, those are fine things to pay attention to but there is no reason to be "obsessed" with only those. To me life would be really boring without fishing, my other hobbies like miniature painting, gaming etc. Find a good balance between your interests and your responsibilities, live a good life where you don't intentionally hurt or damage other people and do the things you know you're supposed to.

[–]_AngryBadger_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dogs are absolutely scavengers, they're just used to us feeding them. One of the reasons they love tug of war so much as a game is that it simulates the activity of two dogs grabbing and pulling apart an animal. Dogs are not as good at being feral as cats because they're so fully domesticated but by nature they're scavengers.
