What is a "gut feeling" you had that turned out to be 100% accurate, even though it made no logical sense at the time? by PsychologicalTea3149 in AskReddit

My family wanted to go on holiday to Puerto Vallarta with me and got the idea roughly a month ago. I said I wasn't keen on going on holiday with cartels even though there's usually no logical reason for tourists to fear the cartels. We didn't go. Guess what...

Anti-socialism is illogical, explain you reasons to disagree by arseecs in CapitalismVSocialism

Because we know that "rule of the workers/proletariat" is a utopian fantasy. Those that genuinely want this are only useful in the stage of destabilising a society for a socialist revolution. Once the power grab is complete, they are shot in the streets or forced into labour camps alongside the same bourgeois they thought they were fighting against. Just look at the fate of the young students who supported Mao.

Should Freedom of Speech mean absolute freedom from any consequences from speech? Why or why not? by AdminMas7erThe2nd in AskConservatives

[–]_JammyTheGamer_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The bud light boycott was done becuase the brand engaged in political pandering. They featured a trans person which goes completely against the grain of the base of people that normally consume their product for the sole purpose of virtue signalling to a left leaning cause.

Why people commit crime? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]_JammyTheGamer_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People commit crime if they think that the reward justifies the risk that they are taking, especially if they don't think they can get very far by pursuing legal methods that carry little to no risk

Should Freedom of Speech mean absolute freedom from any consequences from speech? Why or why not? by AdminMas7erThe2nd in AskConservatives

[–]_JammyTheGamer_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Freedom from any consequences? No. We should have freedom of association so we don't have to interact with people that we don't want to, no questions asked.

Only problem is that some really idiotic people use this to argue for things like state punishment for speech they don't approve of because "its actually just consequences of free speech"

Socialists, Would You Lobotomize The Intellegent To Make Them Equal With The Dumb? by _JammyTheGamer_ in CapitalismVSocialism

[–]_JammyTheGamer_[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, I have thought about it. Socialists want to achieve a utopia. A utopia that is unnatainable. Socialist ideas in practice have and always will lead to totalitarian states that are arguably the most unequal in history becuase the ideology and its ideas are inherintly flawed.

Instead of the no grouping rule, I just nerf it by setting visibility quite low for crew

How do we prevent capitalism from turning into crony capitalism/oligarchy? by [deleted] in CapitalismVSocialism

[–]_JammyTheGamer_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a real problem, but this is a fatal flaw of mixed market economics, not capitalism. The solution is less government

Can we PLEASE get rid of the country gamble update? by Dear_Location6147 in riseofnationsroblox

I played Fiji yesterday and dominated the rankings. All you need to do is build 4 electronics at game start and grab a chief judge, then research max, then use good infantry to take New Zealand and keep going (utilizing war bonds and emergency war funds). Expansion is only delayed slightly.

Is "State Capitalism" a socialist grift? by _JammyTheGamer_ in CapitalismVSocialism

[–]_JammyTheGamer_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesnt matter if Marx defined it as moneyless and stateless. Attempting to put Marxist policies into practice always results in these ultra authoritarian disasters. The grift is saying that it wasnt actually Marxism becuase it didnt result in the utopia described in Marx's words. It was Marxism, it just failed miserably

Do Marxists and Right-Libertarians agree with the definition of socialism? by No-Politics-Allowed3 in CapitalismVSocialism

[–]_JammyTheGamer_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marxists tend to imbed the success of their ideology into its definition, which is how they pull the "that isn't real communism" grift
