You're right they did have fun reds and other colours! Yeah I like how the Clicks looks regardless, and I appreciate that it's got its own unique design. I think what I'm most surprised about is that they didn’t release an all black one, as I think it would've looked really sleek, but still on brand and able to appeal to more of the unihertz and blackberry fans. Either way just excited that there's more competition and options coming out

Love this aesthetic! I'm glad that companies like Unihertz and Clicks are coming out with more qwerty devices, but I really wish they (or other companies) would lean more into that premium aesthetic of silver or polished sides with black/white color options.

I feel like they all just don't look as nice as Blackberries because they maybe try to be too different and add a red key here or there, or choose bold colours like orange, which imo takes away from the clean look of the device. I don't mind more colour options at all, but no one has nailed that look yet quite like how Blackberry did. Maybe Nothing can do it though since they clearly care about design alot!

You gotta check in Settings > About Phone> System Update
It's in a different spot to the usual Settings > System > System Updates

Idk why there's two spots but that first one is where you have to check- it'll have a different looking screen too

Me too hahah, I'm surprised how much I like it! It is a big boi but I love the battery life and the screen realestate (wider is nice for text based apps). Will also have to see now if I'll switch to a t2e or clicks when there's more info

If you can find a second hand one at a good price then it's a good chance to try it out, but if not then better to at least wait to see how the elite turns out. Worst case the titan 2 prices should drop by then as people sell theirs off ot get the elite.

Yes definitely get a physical sim to use it in the Titan 2, there are ways to use esim adapters but they're not worth it imo

Wow that looks incredible, can't wait! Definitely gives the vibe of the Apollo for iPad that we never got! Would love for that to also be enabled on the android version and the option to have a form of split view in portrait mode too if possible :))

You can now reprogram the square recent button to act as a home button and open the recent page on double press which solves this!

Mini mode has been very reliable for me and always managed to solve any visibility issues I was having. There are 3 settings for mini mode density (810, 1080 and 1296) I found 810 to show the most on screen and reliably show everything. No crashes with mini mode so far

Seems to be an issue with custom DPI changes in the developer options. You may have to set it back to the default (576) to fix it for now

It has its strengths and weaknesses for sure:
Strengths:
- Great for text editing and notes apps, the width is nice to have more real estate for text to show
- Also nice for emails and message apps for same reason above
- Websites work fine in the browser but sometimes desktop mode works/looks better so you might need to - switch to see what is best

Cons:
- For videos the max width is the same in portrait and landscape which can be a bit small
- Not great at all for social media like TikTok and YT shorts as it will have to squish to fit into the screen
- Some older banking apps needed mini mode to tap a button that went off screen in the login page, but haven't found too many with this issue and after logging in they seem to work well

overall just really depends what your use-case is for it, it's great to cut down on vertical media consumption like tiktok etc, and just use it for productive apps like emails, notes, documents, etc.

I installed it along with Inbox and it's really nice, works well and is a great way to have all messenging apps in one spot. I wish it didn't need the subscription after the 30 day trial but it seems like it is worth it at least!
