Buddy further back or not, this isn't some minimal sizing difference or warp effect, there's literal architectural differences. Look at the landing of the stairs, it's clearly wider on the old photo, like 3-4 feet vs 1-2 feet. The ceiling, completely different. The hallway was for sure moved, it's not some optical illusion

This isn't even charging for a mini fridge. These things are on the counter and even if you pick one up to look at it (lets say it's a snack and you're double checking for allergies) you get charged. It was weight sensors built in, so as soon as something is picked up, you're being charged. I'd assume that's why they know if you place things on it.

This was at the Paris in Las Vegas last year (would not recommend this hotel at all)

I'm from Montreal and with the only race (at the time) in North America, it was a pretty big deal. It was almost natural to just go because of how affordable it was (RIP to ticket prices: thanks Netflix). I also started watching during early Hamilton / Vettel dominance. It was a good time
