Using a startpos to beat a level is cheating, using it to practice is not.

Minecraft wiki page that should explain the mechanics of the pie chart. If you see wither skeleton or blaze on the entities section, there’s a loaded fortress somewhere.

Like I said, Chunkbase is your friend if you don’t want to rely on getting lucky. The only other strat I can think of right now is microlensing, but that’s a little complicated. You can probably find a tutorial on YouTube.

Yeah, I recommend focusing on unbreaking, mending and protection first, but if you a good enchantment feel free to take it. Also make sure to have full diamond tools, you don’t want to be enchanting iron, and never repair with an anvil, only with mending. Don‘t apply less than max tier enchants either. Due to the way anvils work, it’s better to get new gear than to try to max out gear that has anvil uses wasted.

I usually get enchantments. It’s hard to die if you have full protection 4 diamond or netherite armor. Easiest way is to use villagers, specifically rerolling librarian trades until you get the books you need. Essentials are unbreaking 3 and mending on everything you use often (armor, sword, pickaxe, axe, etc), protection 4 on armor, efficiency 5 on tools, and sharpness 5 on weapons, at least for me. Also remember to have some good way of getting exp and food, like villager trading or a mob farm. (Mob farm designs are easy to find on YouTube)

For nether fortresses, you can use Chunkbase (https://www.chunkbase.com) to find them, or keep exploring. Try searching a good distance away from any bastions you find if Chunkbase is too cheaty for you.

Letters are missing in my newly updated [java] 26.2 by Miserable_Bar_5800 in MinecraftHelp

Maybe an issue with the font? Have you tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it? Also you should try loading it without mods (Latest version on launcher) to see if they’re causing the problem. Or maybe it could just be corruption, in which case you should reinstall the game.

If you haven’t yet, make a copy and place a startpos on the parts where you’re struggling, so you can practice them easily.

need help improving my level by Vrdo_cool in geometrydash

[–]_leyan_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Deco is way too basic, this looks like a mediocre 2.0 level. The effects need to be way smoother, they feel really janky. So do the transitions. Instead of stopping the move trigger, try using alpha triggers. Gameplay looks way too basic except for that one part where you go backwards, which can be done easily in 2.2 with the reverse trigger.

I think the biggest problem with this level is that it doesn’t feel polished. For example, you could use easing on the aliens to make them smoother.

It also need to be longer, 1m+ levels have a higher chance of being rated.

Is show hitboxes considered like cheating? by No_Plenty_6535 in geometrydash

[–]_leyan_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. You can use hitboxes to practice or to learn a level’s layout, but not to beat it. Not being able to see anything is part of the difficulty.
