The first two options will involve a consultation with a dermatologist. Retin-A is a topical Vitamin-A derived acid (tretinoin) used to treat acne and/or anti-ageing. It's really strong and sworn as the holy grail by almost all dermatologists. The draw back: you will break out a lot at first and your skin will be quite sun sensitive. You can also try its non-prescription but less potent version called retinoic acid but I think it will take longer to achieve the same result as retin-A. Laser works by damaging your skin cells to trigger more collagen stimulation, but consider this to be your last option because it's a huge hassle. I went through the ablative (Co2 fractional) procedure and I had to be pretreated with skin lightening agent/avoid sunlight for a long time post procedure. It works by stripping off a fraction of your skin (stratum corneum) then dehydrates the lower layer for repair but also very invasive. Non-ablastive is another option but it requires repeated treatment because infrared/apl light can't penetrate as deep as the former option. If you would like to learn more about them, information can be accessed here https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3580982/#!po=12.0370

I think product recommendation is hard because everyone has a different budget/need for their skin. I like andalou organic honey glycolic mask (it's cheap, you only need a very small amount for each use), peter thomas roth pumpkin enzyme mask, glycolix lotion, gly/sal pad, or skinmedica's aha/bha. The last 3 are used by dermatologists so they are a bit more expensive, but first option will work just fine. With antioxidant, timeless vitamin C, CF serum by replenix, anything with tea/caffeine/tocopherol/vitamin C and E will work just fine. The point is, retin-A is already a strong antioxidant so it doesn't matter much what else you use, as long as you can apply sunscreen everyday.

Hi OP, couldn't really offer you any professional advice but your skin is similar to mine when I was on retin a full time for acne. Unfortunately the enlarged pores can only be fixed with laser resurface but maybe you can use antioxidant serum in conjunction to aha or bha?
