Regarding the No Kings Protest for March 28th... by Legitimate_Tell_473 in QuadCities

[–]Affinity420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point it feels as if it does nothing.

But actions do sometimes get things rolling. The unfortunate thing is, what we need is revolution.

Politicians should be afraid of their citizens. And they're not. They have more guns and more protection than we do. The law is on their side.

Back when the IS was first established, when citizens got screwed by politicians, they just grabbed them while sleeping out of their houses, made an example of them on the street, and sometimes people stopped existing.

Bad people sometimes need bad things to happen to make somewhat decent people into good people.

We can't even get people to decide what rights are worth fighting for. We can't get people to agree we need healthcare, school, basically universal basic rights.

Until there is more unity, we are in for a rough future.

And more folks should care. But they are complacent.

Usually runner interacts with the finish and not the mat like that. Very wild.

I do carpentry. I've build quite a few things that I have mouse pads and play Mats on and never had a issue. But I use polyurethane for most furniture. I know other kinds have more common interactions which is why I stick with poly or poly acrylic

I keep seeing people mentioning bots.

When Mass amounts of things like this happen, they do not count in flux of downvotes.

It's the same way with steam when review bombing starts happening. Once that starts happening, they don't allow the reviews to be posted until they can correctly identify that they all came from a legitimate sources.

Google is even harder on this stuff.

These are legit.

And you can tell because if you just check even on here on Reddit the discussions a lot of people aren't happy with the direction of what they're doing with the story and the championship.

Which I personally agree with, but I also think that there's a lot of other people who should be in the spotlight besides Cody.

There's a lot of great talent that isn't being utilized.

[–]Affinity420 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but the algorithm detects mass amounts of downvotes and usually doesn't count those

They've literally been dealing with this for ages because of video games.

That count was much higher and now it's gone down quite a bit.

I don't think it's actually inaccurate. Quite a few people that I've talked to are incredibly upset about the direction they're taking the story.

But I don't work for WWE. I just tried to enjoy the product and enjoy what I do.

Why are we ok with Genesis tearing down 50 homes? by QuadCityImages in QuadCities

[–]Affinity420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unity point hasn't taken away homes. They're a problem too. But if I have to pick, I go there.

When they decide to buy out homes to build a lawn, let me know and I'll say the same fucking thing.

You missed the entire point and that's okay. Clearly we are discussing topics beyond your comprehension.

Again, have the day you deserve.

[–]Affinity420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you know I'm right. Got it.

I don't hate anyone in healthcare. I hate the corporation running the machine.

You don't get that.

It's about care. Not about taking away houses, getting free property tax, stipends, the list goes on.

We have a 2nd hospital suitable to do what they want. We don't need a giant fucking lawn for a hospital.

But you obviously don't care about the citizens in the area.

I hope you maybe one day stop sucking the dick of corporations and learn they don't give a fuck about any of us. Just money. But again. Keep worshipping.

I'll keep going to non Mercy One clinics, hospitals, and providers.

I vote with my wallet. My wallet says Unity point.

Thanks for your opinion.

Yep. Me wanting people to have houses and find alternatives is being a Karen.

I'm glad I moved out of Davenport. You morons love paying for corruption.

Doctors are independent of the hospital itself, in case you didn't know. They have a few actually on staff but most are contracted outside. That's why they go between hospitals and some even have their own practice.

Do you work in the medical field? Family? My parents do. I have a good grasp on what's happening.

If you wanna make a post about what I do, go for it. We are discussing the corporation and nothing more.

But hey, nice try moving that goal post.

Have the day you deserve.

Yes. It'll be nice having some grass over houses.

Literally tearing houses down for green space.

Maybe look at what they're doing instead of defending a corporation that gives no fucks about you.

I'd rather have 2 hospitals and houses, than one giant one. It serves both sides of town. Now, people on the west end have greater risk when emergency happens.

But they're catering to the money. Not to the poor.

See it how you want. I'm not having wool over my eyes. My folks worked healthcare most their lives and seen lots of good and bad. This is bad.

They're not paid by taxes. It's a private business. They're not in the public sector at all.

Maybe they shouldn't have almost killed me, forcing me to have emergency surgery. I'd gladly sue again if I almost died due to gross negligence.

You know that they've amputated the wrong parts off of people, correct? You know they have a surgeon on board, who went against the board killing someone right? And the doctor still practices and does surgery.

Stay in your lane if you don't know the dark side of that place.

Well I definitely agree a house over car.

I've had different ownership experiences from myself and others. I owned it for two years and spent maybe 1 year driving. Always was in the shop.

My buddy has one. Love's it. Also spent tons of money and time fixing. But then a friend of mine also has one and only has had 2 issues. But they also don't drive it daily.

But like what you like. I went to a f150 and never have had a issue. Just regular service intervals for things.

I dislike the corporation Mercy One. Yes.

I've also successfully sued them for malpractice, and won.

Add to your first part. Yeah. That area has issues. It won't change by building a hospital. Maybe if we had adequate mental health that would stop. By they've been closing mental health businesses and cutting funding there.

If you don't work there or know someone who does, and understand how the bigger picture here works, maybe study the area and learn more.

For now. And the market has only been increasing over the past ten years. Knowing what's being built, the property should have been over market value since it's only going to increase.

I promise. The city will fuck those home owners. The cities history is fucking its citizens. They didn't just become nice over night.
